Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Taglia engaged Found Design Collaborative to lead design development for our debut collection of NFC-enabled luggage tags, with the goal of creating a proprietary shape that would become synonymous with our brand. The engagement covered end-to-end product design, from initial concept exploration through prototype specification, vendor coordination and selection, and into full production.

The project moved through four phases: concept design, concept refinement, technical development, and design realization. Found generated multiple structural concepts, refined the selected design across our brand themes with full CMF specifications, developed production-ready CAD models and technical drawings, and carried the project through to hi-fidelity prototyping and the first market-ready order of the La Dolce Vita collection.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Found generated multiple structural concepts for the proprietary tag shape, giving us real options to evaluate rather than a single narrow direction, and ultimately refined the selected structure across three distinct brand themes. The first physical prototypes we received reflected an exceptional level of detail and craftsmanship, exceeding what we expected at this stage of development. Beyond prototypes, Found delivered a full production-ready technical package, including CAD models, 1:1 technical drawings, and CMF specifications that gave us a running start on manufacturing. That rigor carried the project all the way to its clearest measurable outcome: delivery of the first market-ready order of the La Dolce Vita collection.

Found consistently hit deadlines across each phase of the project, from concept design through final delivery, without ever cutting corners on quality. They were remarkably responsive, making themselves available around the clock to answer questions and turn around revisions quickly. Just as important, they were attentive listeners, and every round of feedback we gave was clearly reflected in the next iteration, which made the whole process feel like a true collaboration rather than a one-way handoff.
