Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the VP of operations for a plumbing and heating company specializing in high-end residential new construction. We also provide additional services for commercial projects and have a dedicated service department.

What challenge were you trying to address with ForwardPEO?

We were working with a PEO that didn’t align with our industry or insurance needs. We suspected we were overpaying but didn’t know where to start. Our traditional brokers looked at taking us out of the PEO to save on service fees, but the standard markets came back with prohibitive pricing on insurances. We brought ForwardPEO in to figure out whether a better fit existed — a PEO built around our industry with service and insurance costs that actually made sense.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ForwardPEO has saved us significantly on workers’ comp and service fees. I’ve also received positive feedback from ownership. Onboarding employees is much easier, and employee benefits align with what they need.

How did ForwardPEO perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time. We communicated via in-person and virtual meetings, emails, and messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ForwardPEO’s attention to detail is impressive. They put in a lot of time and effort to understand our needs. Their communication and follow-up are also excellent.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could bring better pizza to meetings.
