What challenge were you trying to address with FlyDevs?

We needed to develop a product that brings transparency and real-time tracking to the entire vehicle transfer process for both purchases and sales. This solution helps us streamline operations, improve efficiency, and provide greater visibility into each step of the workflow — ultimately optimizing productivity indicators and enhancing the overall customer experience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

FlyDevs has been responsible for the end-to-end development of the project — from understanding our operational challenges to delivering a fully functional, scalable solution. They began by working closely with our team to define the problem: the lack of transparency and traceability in the vehicle transfer process for both purchases and sales.

From there, FlyDevs has designed and implemented a product that centralizes all the necessary steps and stakeholders involved, integrating data sources and automating key parts of the workflow to reduce manual intervention and errors. The scope has included product design, backend and frontend development, system integration, QA testing, and deployment.

Key features include a complete back-office platform designed to manage and track the entire vehicle transfer process for both purchases and sales. The system includes robust user and permission management, ensuring that each role within the process has the right level of access and visibility.

It also features automated notifications and alerts to keep all stakeholders informed in real time, along with multiple business rule validations to ensure data accuracy and compliance at every stage. Additionally, the platform includes tools for generating standardized PDF documents and ready-to-print templates, simplifying administrative tasks and ensuring consistency across all transactions.

Beyond the initial launch, FlyDevs continues to provide maintenance and technical support, ensuring system stability and performance. They also collaborate with us on new feature development and continuous improvements based on user feedback and evolving business needs — making them a long-term strategic partner in optimizing our operational efficiency.

What challenge were you trying to address with FlyDevs?

We needed support to develop the front- and backend of our web application to bring it from MVP to market-ready.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

FlyDevs is developing a multi-tenant, offline-capable platform with robust permissions. The team is iterating on the patterns delivered by our designer to allow documentation of auditing, assigning of responsibilities to workers, and organizational tracking over time. FlyDevs is also developing a strong reporting module that has the ability to send targeted versions of reports to each employee.

We found FlyDevs through a referral. Other nearshore and offshore developers were more of an unknown. The product manager who recommended FlyDevs said they were very able and honest with their use of our time.

We started working together in February 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

FlyDevs regularly shows us the solutions they're implementing through Loom videos as they work, followed by pushing their work to our development and production app. We expect to be highly competitive once the product is launched, delivering desperately needed solutions that our competitors couldn't hope to replicate without major rebuilds.

How did FlyDevs perform from a project management standpoint?

FlyDevs is fairly good at communicating and always has an accommodating attitude. My recommendation is to have clear expectations for the project. We primarily communicate through Slack.

They seem competent and deliver within a reasonable timeline of their estimates.
