Business owner, Sound Recordist and Fixer. I offer media services in regards to on set sound recording, location fixing and producing.

Creative content development, production and post-production work.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have previously worked with this team on past projects, including a feature film, and television pilots. They are professional, flexible and know how to deal with drama from outside factors in a respectable way and still get the job done.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

The Flix Oven team met with the musicians, discussed their creative vision for the song. They put together the budget for the project. They rented the gear and vehicles required to get the musicians and extras to the locations. They reviewed and edited the footage into the finished project.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with the Cinematographer and editor of the project. He was very flexible and feedback could be suggested during all stages of the project. The original creative vision, pre-production, during film production and post-production. Communication and understanding were pretty clear cut.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The music video was filmed, edited and published in 2 months. I believe the musicians and the rest of the team were very satisfied with the end product. "Seoul Summer" ~ Part-time Cooks

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager is bilingual and could speak English or Korean. They were comfortable using all communication tools, whether it be text, video chat, email or video conference call. They always gave advance notice concerning any production changes. (Due to weather, extras, gear, or accidents, etc)

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

For starters, quality is more important than price. Just because some company offers you the cheapest product, doesn't mean its going to look as polished and professional as you want it to. Flix Oven provides excellent value for a reasonable price point. Most impressive? In media each person fills many job roles. Flix Oven has lots of experience filling many hats and doing a great job.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In this industry, you're regulated by your budget just as much as your talent. Flix Oven provides good value and quality production staff. They outsource visual effects.

I am the head of an international production company that does work in Asia and the Middle East.

For what projects/services did your company hire Flix Oven, and what were your goals?

I hired Flix Oven for production services on a bracelet commercial and my goals were to find a company that could provide end-to-end production support throughout our entire support. This involved the actual hands-on shoot as well as all the organisation and pre-production involved.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I chose Flix Oven based on their expertise, work ethic and their ability to quickly understand the project and its requirements at a deep level.

We were working with a very limited time schedule for both pre-production and the shoot itself so we had a couple of in-depth and extremely useful Zoom meetings.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I shared some of the reference points of what we were looking to create and the team were able to quickly understand what we were going for. Their Director of Photography was extremely helpful in getting the specific look we were going for with this piece and their production manager had a lot of great suggestions about how to effectively manage the logistical side of things that greatly aided us in the field

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was very impressed with how well the Flix Oven team had grasped what was needed for the film. They brought a thoroughness and enthusiasm that's extremely hard to find in this industry and added a number of excellent ideas on how we shoot approach the project that were extremely valuable.

During the actual shoot, Flix Oven was highly professional and massively exceeded my expectations in every department. Thanks to their diligence and hard work we were able to complete our project on budget, on time and to a very high standard under difficult circumstances. The client was thrilled with the product we created with Flix Oven and have used the film (as well as splintered content from it) to successfully drive social media traffic and interest in their brand. 

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Due to the hectic schedule we had several last-minute changes to the already-tough production schedule and the Flix Oven guys were able to accommodate this brilliantly. Their positive attitude and great energy also made the long shoot a lot more enjoyable.

Their project manager was fantastic and very easy to communicate with. He handled all of the problems we brought to him in a timely manner and was able to helpfully flag up several things that potentially could have become problems during the production but, thanks to this logistical foresight, everything went perfectly to plan.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

For me, the most impressive thing about this company is how much value you get for your money with them. The quality they deliver is ridiculously good and the positive attitude and professional demeanor made our production an absolute pleasure. Our experience with this company was outstanding.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Under the circumstances, there really is not much I can say here. We really asked a lot from them in a very short time frame and they over-delivered in their service to us so we are very happy!
