We started brainstorming with Flamingo Agency in August 2019, and the development work is completed. Our SEO services will start with them next month.

User feedback has been positive. People have commented on the site’s usability. We’ve been focusing on an overall uptick in business, web traffic, and contacts from interested parties. I like their SEO work, and their prices are fair and straightforward.

Everything was great. We didn’t have specific deadlines for this project, but their communication style aided the collaboration. They were great to work with and remained timely. When I submitted materials to Chris, everything was uploaded very quickly. We communicated mainly through phone and email.

I appreciate their expertise. I discussed a lot of things with Chris regarding SEO and site layout, and he brought to light areas that I was missing. His knowledgeability provided clarity. He explained the reasoning behind certain decisions. The entire experience with Flamingo Agency was great.

We wanted to upgrade our website to target contractors and homeowners to our services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built the website from scratch, incorporating our desired pictures, data, and content into the interface. He rewrote the content and updated the site to be more mobile-friendly. The site was built in WordPress. I approved the final edits for quality, making sure that everything was transferred from the old site appropriately. They also set up Google Analytics, allowing me to track the performance of the new site over time.

I was referred to him, so we spoke over the phone about his capabilities. When we met, it seemed like he’d be a good match for me because of his offerings and price points.

We spent between $300–$500 on the work.

We collaborated through the first few months of 2018. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The followed through on all of his promises, making the site mobile-friendly and adjusted for SEO. That way, we can rank more highly on Google. In the beginning, there were a few bugs, but they were quickly fixed. Everything has been good since then.

I didn’t have any issues with their project management style. He provided us with his personal phone number and email address that we used for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of the site for the cost was pretty impressive. Other providers charge a lot more for similar projects. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would love it if they would focus more time on marketing and SEO work. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you know what you want from your site build. Because I had a different site, I had a good idea of this. We didn’t have to search for new information. They did a good job of synthesizing content to make it more user-friendly.

I’m the owner and founder of Unleashed Luxury Travel Concierge, a high-end travel business. I plan customized travel plans for my private clientele.

I didn’t have a website. Although most of my business comes through word-of-mouth, I needed to have some sort of web presence so that people could initially see what I do.

Flamingo Agency designed a WordPress website for my company.

I read reviews, interviewed three companies, and requested quotes. I needed the site up and running quickly, and I chose Flamingo Agency because of their responsiveness.

What is the status of this engagement?

Flamingo Agency built my site in January 2018, and it was live by March. I didn’t know exactly what I needed to have on the site, so I had to do some research. It took Chris less than two weeks, probably close to ten days, to get the site up and running. 

We’re going to be doing an update shortly. I don’t have plans to use a different web developer.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

People like the site a lot. Chris provided good feedback; he would tell me if something I thought I’d like might not work from an ease-of-use perspective on the consumer side. 

How did Flamingo Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

I’ve learned that responsiveness is not something you can count on in the service industry, so I’d say the highest recommendation I can give is that Chris was extremely responsive and delivered the product when he said he would.

Whenever I found an issue, he fixed it immediately. If something couldn’t be addressed immediately, he explained why and kept me up to date. We spoke on the phone, but we mostly communicated via email because it was more efficient, and it also created a record of exactly what needed to be done.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would say Chris’s responsiveness and excitement to learn about the business he’s working on set him apart. He was excited to learn about what I did in the travel business, not just making a web page. He wanted to be personally invested in the product, and that helped him customize the result to what I needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. I had never hired somebody to do something like this for me, and I was expecting to have a more difficult time getting a website that would look nice. I’d also heard from other people in the industry that some companies don't respond for weeks or deliver what you ask for. I never had those problems with Chris; he made it very easy.

Any advice for potential customers?

Take his recommendations. Research what he recommends and make sure it works for you, but he has a lot of experience in the industry. Everything that I implemented based on his suggestions has gotten great feedback.

I'm the President, founder and owner of a legal recruiting firm. We recruit for lawyers and lead administrators for law firm and corporate clients.

My business is brand new so the website I hired Flamingo to develop was 100% from the ground up. My goal was to create a website that was informative as to my background and how that would provide value added recruiting services for our clients. It also needed to service as the primary marketing piece for the new firm.

We had a kick off meeting where discussed my companies' business and my background and goals for the website project. From their, Flamingo outlined a detailed 10-step process that would end with the website being fully complete and live. The process was comprehensive, but also simple to understand. At each step, I was provided with several mock-ups and various options for me to choose. It was very helpful to actually visualize these options and I also was provided Chris's thoughts on why one option may work better than another. Chris's assistance went well beyond the website development process including helping me with advice on appropriate cloud and other vendors, and helping me find a logo designer.

The website went live very recently, but already I have received business contacts through it, as well as overwhelmingly positive feedback from those that have visited it so far.

Chris is very organized and kept the project on track, without being pushy. He is highly responsive and delivered all requests in a timely manner.

The end product exceeded my expectations which is the main goal. However, Flamingo's organized, but simplified approach was greatly appreciated. The approach is also collegial and collaborative.

I was a neophyte with respect to web design and SEO development before I teamed up with Chris. No longer. I really appreciated how they took the time to explain their process. They made certain that my vision and goals for the project were always paramount.
