After three years of dealing with massive, unwieldy spreadsheets, Jason Lippa was fed up. As the General Manager at Stranahan’s, Colorado’s first craft distillery, he was spending hours every day pulling together data from different areas of the distillery to complete daily reports, and what felt like days every month trying to compile monthly TTB reports. So he built a solution. With a degree in Computer Science, a background in defense (rockets!), and a passion for whiskey, creating a software solution for craft distilleries was something Jason was uniquely qualified to do, but in no way did he expect to take the software, then called Stillhouse, to the level it would reach.

Now used by more distilleries than any other software on the market, DISTILL x 5 is an unrivaled market leader. After 10 years of focusing on the distilleries that built the company then known as Distillery Solutions, the team decided it was time to offer our assistance to our hop-loving neighbors. Drawing on the incredibly supportive craft beer community in Denver, BREW x 5 (previously known as Brewhouse) was launched in 2016, designed for breweries by people who like beer and know brewing. With features to aid every operational aspect of today’s craft breweries, the company promises to do for brewing what it did for distilling – make life easier.

Today, FIVE x 5 Solutions is a small, passionate team working just outside of Denver in an office home to Skeeball, pinball, and a rotating assortment of canine companions. We take pride in supporting our customers with regular feature releases, industry-leading support, and ongoing product education.
