🔹 Review Functional Requirements - Analyze system specifications and process flows for modules such as invoicing, purchases, payments, GL, and reporting.
🔹 Execute Test Cases - Create structured test scenarios to verify accounting logic and expected outcomes (e.g., receivable created after sales invoice).
🔹 Perform Functional Testing - Test core features such as transaction entries, tax calculations, payment processing, and report generation (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance).
🔹 Conduct Integration Testing - Verify accurate data flow between accounting, inventory, procurement, CRM, POS and banking modules.
🔹 Simulate Real-World Business Scenarios - Test processes like full purchase-to-pay or order-to-cash cycles to ensure real-life business workflows function correctly.
🔹 User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Facilitation - Guide end-users in testing, collect feedback, and suggest improvements.
🔹 Identify and Report Bugs or Gaps - Log functional issues, incorrect postings, or calculation errors and work with developers or product teams to resolve them.
🔹 Verify Compliance and Accounting Accuracy - Ensure outputs comply with accounting standards such as IFRS, tax rules, and internal SOPs.
🔹 Collaborate with Developers and Product Teams - Provide financial domain input during product discussions, sprints, or feature improvements.
🔹 Document Test Results and Recommendations - Maintain logs of test cases, test outcomes, and suggestions to improve system accuracy and user experience
