Expanding Web

Expanding Web is a two-person engineering practice that prepares Adobe Commerce and Magento stores for AI shopping agents — without a replatform and without handing over control of checkout.

We start with evidence, not a deck. A public eight-check scanner runs read-only against the merchant's own domain and returns what an agent actually sees: product feed completeness, structured data, bot policy, crawlability, and whether the store exposes an agent-usable commerce path at all. Every report is reviewed and signed off by an engineer before it is sent — the analysis is generated automatically, the judgement is not.

The core engagement is a fixed-scope five-business-day Readiness Sprint: a catalog and data audit, an ACP/UCP/MCP architecture mapped to the merchant's real system boundaries, one working prototype on an agreed commerce path, a security and observability plan, and a production roadmap. Production implementation follows only when the scope is known, typically $10,000-$20,000.

We are protocol-agnostic on purpose. Clean product data, an API-first catalog, feed completeness and a sane bot policy pay off whichever standard prevails, so nothing we build is bound to one vendor's protocol. We also say out loud what we cannot sell: discovery, ranking and programme access stay with the platforms, and no one can guarantee placement inside them.

Adobe Commerce stays the system of record. Existing ERP, PIM, inventory, tax and payment rules keep deciding. Founded in 2007, we work in English worldwide from Lower Silesia, Poland.
