Existentia Films is an independent documentary filmmaking and video production studio based in Santa Cruz, near Lisbon, working across Portugal and internationally. With more than 100 interviews filmed and five international film festival selections, including a Best Short Documentary award, we create documentary films with soul and purpose.
Led by Henria and Catarina, we work with conscious brands, wellness organizations and impact-driven projects. Through natural conversations and cinematic imagery, we bring visibility to the people, ideas and initiatives shaping the world we want to see.
Our services include cinematic manifesto films, brand films, brand documentaries and interviews. We manage the full production process, from developing the story and preparing interviews to filming, editing, colour grading and sound design. As a two-person studio, we offer close collaboration and a consistent creative vision from the first conversation to the finished film.
