What challenge were you trying to address with EvigTech?

We hired EvigTech for their custom web development services.

What is the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we discussed the requirement for the website and did a lot of research on what kind of information was required for the user. After that, EvigTech proceeded with the work, developing and designing the website from scratch using React. They also implemented a key feature to the site that enables customers to book demos with us.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two developers from their side.

How did you come to work with EvigTech?

They were recommended to us by my friend who had worked with them before.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $4,000 on the project.

What is the status of the engagement?

We worked together on this project from February–March 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They delivered everything we requested. The site continues to work pretty well; we have not experienced any problems with it.

How did EvigTech perform from a project management standpoint?

They were professional, cost-effective, and punctual. We communicated via email and Google Meet and used Asana as our project management tool.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their expertise in design was pretty good. They were also very responsive — they would reply to us even after work hours and during weekends.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I had a good experience with them, so I don’t have any complaints about their work.

I'm the founder of TopBeat, a global online music school located in India. We teach musical instruments like guitar and keyboard to kids across the world through a one-on-one live learning model.

What challenge were you trying to address with EvigTech?

They helped us develop a mobile app with a learning management system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were responsible for creating the entire UX of the app, the database structure of the development, writing PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), getting the PRDs approved by my team, and then finally starting the development and end testing.

They built the app from scratch, and some of the technologies used were Java and React Native.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people; one backend software engineer, one frontend developer, and one full stack developer.

How did you come to work with EvigTech?

They were referred to me by a friend who had worked with them before.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent close to $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April 2021–November 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We mainly checked the timelines and the quality of the software. There were multiple software developments delivered within the agreed timeline and with a few bugs — they also did the post-testing before delivery.

How did EvigTech perform from a project management standpoint?

They met the deadlines and stayed on budget. We used Trello for project management at one point, then shifted to Notion and our communication was typically done through WhatsApp, emails, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We liked how small the team was, as it enabled us to focus completely on this project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The small team was also one of the drawbacks because when one person left, the project would stall. They need to hire more people.

Any advice for potential customers?

If you're developing a large-scale product, then they probably won't be an ideal fit. I recommend starting small in the initial stages, and ramping up during the development phase to maximize the partnership.
