How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had an initial chat after they had been contacted from the IASME portal. They gave me a clear breakdown of how they run the evaluation and what would be required. They also gave me a good feeling that they provided a collaborative approach to the assessment.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

This was a standard Cyber Essentials Plus assessment. They install the scan agents, run the scans and give an opportunity for remediation before a rescan.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We achieved our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

This was the best part. Will (the assessor) was a great communicator and kept me up to date with everything that was happening as he was running through the assessment so that I could ensure everything was in place. I'd not done the CE+ before so was somewhat worried about how it would go. They took the time to make it stress-free while maintaining the impartiality you'd expect as an assessor.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Will kept me up to date with results quickly so I had as much time as possible to be able to remediate. I had feedback from some of the users on the video assessments how patient he was when directing them through what to do, comments I can echo from the time I spent talking to him. When you are asking non-technical users to run through anything on their PC, patience and calmness are critical to get good outcomes.
