BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are Greensi startup and we are developing new technologies and solutions for indoor vertical farming and Eternax team has developed farm management platform. I'm currently working as a quality manager.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Eternax, and what were your goals?

Our goal was clear, we wanted to create self-sustained and self-controlled indoor vertical farming but we didn't have all the knowledge and that is where Eternax team really step up as they developed whole system from ground up.

SOLUTION

How did you select Eternax and what were the deciding factors?

Problem was resolved by applying sensors ( humidity, temperature and air flow and air quality sensors). Their gateway collects all the data from the sensors and store them into a cloud based management platform where we can control and monitor each parameter for the healthy grow of our plats.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

It was a broad scope project involving: solution investigation, detailed technologies specification, sensor development and central unit development and platform development. Technologies used in this project were C, C++, Python, JavaScript, KiCad, Bluetooth and Wifi.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Eternax CEO Jurica worked on development of the program solutions and he was bias between our company and Eternax.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since the implementation of Eternax solution we improved quality insurance- there is a 100% certainty that the whole crop will be perfectly healthy and usable, also we reduced reduced labour cost by almost 80%.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

We were able to communicate not only as business partners regarding scheduling and meetings but we were able to talk about the technical specifications of the project. It was easy to meet deadlines this way and communicate solutions without third parties interference.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to develop custom solutions from scratch even in the narrow time period was impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Even though we are not startup with technical backgrounds we were still able to understand and follow the project steps as they took extra care to inform us about implemented solutions even when it was time-consuming. Everything was on a high level.
