Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a partner at a tax boutique law firm, but we do anything from wills, trusts, and estates work to tax controversy work, and we represent high net worth families that have closely held businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with eSasson Studios?

We had an archaic website and we wanted to expand our online presence to attract new clients and provide resources to our current ones. Our website was a mischaracterization and not indicative of the work we do, and we wanted it to match our reputation.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We told eSasson our expectations and what we wanted, and they provided us with some example websites. They listened to our descriptions and built a framework that we approved. The original project was mainly focused on improving the look of the sight, but about a year ago, they updated our website with the goal of making our content more extensive and the functionality more intensive, integrating updates and our articles into the site, and making the navigation easier and more intuitive. They cleaned it up and created mobile- and computer-friendly versions.

eSasson improved our SEO and gave us the tools we need to update the content more frequently. They assist with our email blasts and campaigns, and they also designed our logo, giving us several options that we workshopped together.

What is the team dynamic?

We work directly with Roy [Owner], and he has a team that works for him.

How did you come to work with eSasson Studios?

We vetted a few different companies, but I had worked with eSasson before, so I knew they were capable of taking on our project; plus, their pricing was competitive.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend between $3,000­–$10,000 a year, depending on the workload we give them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked with them consistently since 2010.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before partnering with eSasson, our site got minimal monthly hits, and we didn’t have a listserv. Now, we get a couple hundred hits a month and have a listserv of about 10,000 names.

How did eSasson Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

Roy is responsive and always gets back to us quickly. He’s also made it easy for us to make minor changes to the website, and that accessibility is really nice. We communicate mainly over the phone and through email, and we have meetings whenever necessary.

What did you find most impressive about them?

eSasson doesn’t just tell us what to do, but they take time to listen to and understand our needs. They’re patient and have great communication, asking questions and doing a thorough analysis before starting anything. Because of that, the site isn’t just a template they use all the time, but it was custom-made for our unique business and strategy.
