We wanted to declutter our user interface so that it doesn't seem overly detailed and technical. We wanted the UI to guide the user into a seamless flow. We broke down the solution into a few key areas and started off by redesigning some of these isolated features before proceeding to re-designing the end to end flow.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have a library of Figma designs which our development team is working on implementing. Feedback  from our partners and customers is positive

EmphaStudio has been very responsive and flexible to our frequent change requests. They always deliver on time and understand the usage of the system surprisingly quickly

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think it would be how quickly they undrestood the technical domain of our system well enough to start designing a new Ux. Given the engineering nature of the product, it's difficult for the average designer to find references or industry standard for the design but EmphaStudio made it happen

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Our business was in process of a full UX overhaul to align with long term strategic objectives. This included revisiting all pages and features to evaluate the overall user experience and create a consistent user experience throughout the platform. Focus areas were on component design, header and menu navigation, and general updates and better standards for our design system.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Release retrospectives, client user feedback, and overall development team productivity improvement around formalized design system and process changes.

Tasks were completed on time to meet business objectives and timelines for our major release. Revisions and feedback sessions with various teams were held on an ongoing basis. These meetings often resulted in the need to adjust or rework things as new business requirements were identified, but we were still able to meet our milestone objectives.

Their expertise in UX best practices has helped us greatly improve the look and feel of our platform, while helping us to implement more scalable UI and UX design processes and technologies.

No major areas of improvement. Some design reviews/presentations could have benefited from educating the audience with more background on how/why some design decisions were made.

I am the head of innovation at a mixed use property development company in Australia, with 14 buildings under management and 40 new projects in development.

We engaged Empha Studio for UX/UI design work to build a new online platform for managing flexible office leases for marketing, sales, onboarding and after sales management. The platform had a a frontend public ecommerce function, a customer portal and a management portal.

We conducted multiple interviews (15+ potential suppliers), reviewed prior projects and also selected for colloborative team culture fit.

From inital design and user journeys using figma, through to user testing, iteration and launch. Sprints and daily standups.

One resource, we worked directly with Tania who effectively who joined our team.

The site successfully launched and has attracted customers. We are very pleased with the results.
