Elfen is an award-winning bilingual creative studio based in Cardiff Bay, Wales, specialising in naming and brand identity. Founded in 1997, the studio has spent nearly three decades building distinctive, enduring identities for organisations that need their brand to work in both Welsh and English — with equal integrity in both.

Guto’s approach is rooted in the belief that good design begins long before anything visual is created. Every project is different, but the objective remains the same: to uncover what is distinctive and turn it into something clear, meaningful and memorable. Working in both Welsh and English has shaped Guto’s understanding of language, identity and place.
