I’m the Chief Marketing Officer for Resurgens Orthopaedics.

What challenge were you trying to address with ECG Productions?

I hired them to create advertising that resonates with our target audiences.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide scriptwriting, consulting, storyboarding, campaign development, creative revisions, and they do execution, so they shoot, they edit, they produce. They handle all things from concept to execution and editing and post animation. The videos they produce are interviews or testimonials. They have done a whole gallery of orthopedic procedures and treatments from two-minute short-form videos to longer educational series.

What is the team composition?

I've worked with at least four people from their team.

How did you come to work with ECG Productions ?

I also work with one of their partner agencies, so I saw it as a natural fit. I saw a lot of the work they did for their partner agency and when I needed video work it was a natural extension to go to them.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent roughly $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've worked with them since January 2018 and are still working together.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We did a data validation study once and you could see that our campaigns got progressively better each round as we've worked with ECG Productions. Anecdotally, we get really positive feedback that the spots represent our brand well, make sense, and are respectable.

How did ECG Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly used email, Wipster, and Google Docs — they did a good job at communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their speed, flexibility, and agility impressed. They're able to take an idea and run with it, but also revise as needed to come up with an excellent product if we give them feedback.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Project management could view the campaigns more holistically as an overarching campaign rather than one-off independent projects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They're great for novices, people that don't have any idea what to do, because they can help them guide them through the entire process with great ideas. But they're also great for people that have strong opinions and know exactly what they want because they're good at execution, too.
