The team excelled at delivering a great product with complex features and capabilities.

The build took longer than expected, partly due to more tasks being added to the scope but also partly due to delays during covid, annual leave or sick days in the beginning that really slowed down the UX and UI progress. During this stage the work wasn't completed before their planned leave which wasn't ideal. Besides that the team has been diligent at completing development sprints on time and responding to our needs and urgent bugs.

EB Pearls has excellent internal processes that happen behind the scenes which enable me to continue to run my business without distraction and I can trust that they are working to get the job done.

As mentioned earlier, there were times in the beginning where the team took some planned leave including the project manager, UX and UI designer and the work wasn't completed prior so this caused delays - often they were just small tweaks and feedback - or there was no one to run the meeting in Binisha's absence until this was requested from my side. We were impacted by the pandemic during this time but I felt like we could have wrapped up this phase sooner.
The night prior to our public launch we found out the team had a public holiday after previously confirming we would have support should anything go wrong. The team has improved their communication since then around public holidays but this is really important to know. Lastly, Ivan's communication and support dropped off towards the end of the project before hearing about his resignation so I began chasing Ray on progress instead.
Sometimes it was days between replies from Ijan however Ray has been excellent since taking over.

They challenged us in various domains and expanded our perspectives in others. These discussions were subsequently consolidated into multiple deliverables, enabling us to advance to the next phase. 

Within these discussions, we recognized the necessity of testing a specific set of technologies, and EB Pearls generously extended their software development services for this purpose. Simultaneously, we made progress on developing the Proof of Concept, which proved to be successful.

Our poject was delivered as planned and after focus group testing, we were able to launch the app. We had a good uptake on the app and was really well received. We have curently been utilising EB pearls staff augmentation to build more features.

Firstly, we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. In the first few weeks, we received the wireframes for more than 50% of the entire project. We provided the feedback for both UI and UX design that were presented to us and the amendments were done accordingly. Every version of the product that has been built was shared with us, so that we could use the product and test it extensively.

The website went live within the estimated timeframe. We have been receiving positive feedback on the look of the website from both potential and existing customers.

The product manager of the project provided regular updates. We had a weekly sprint meeting to discuss progress of the project. Overall, I was impressed by the timely work completion. We used to get prior notification if the weekly meeting needed changes which rarely happened.

I was impressed by the talented team members. Each of them was an expert in their own field. The team was really patient and considerate. I will definitely choose the company again if we have any further website update needs in the future.

Since quality is more important, they prioritized more on it and took time to complete each phase of the project. In the beginning, I thought the process took a long time. However, we are happy with the quality product which was really beautiful.
