From simple beginnings.
East Lens Media was formed in 2016 as a grassroots video production company when long time New Brunswick filmmaker Joel Thompson, decided to bring his creative storytelling approach and over 15 years of experience to the corporate and commercial video world. Since then east lens has built a talented team of passionate and experienced professionals to start producing high quality, story focused content under the name East Lens Media.

We have since undertaken a diverse range of projects and worked with many businesses and organizations including The Province of New Brunsick, The City of Fredericton, Liberty Utilities, The Multicultural Council of NB, Sure Grip, United Way, Special Olympics, Fredericton Community Foundation and many others. East Lens Media approaches video with a focus on quality and passion, with quick turnaround times and ongoing communication with clients.

East Lens is a small business with big ideas that works extensively with New Brunswick subcontractors to keep overhead minimal. This allows us to scale projects as needed to fit a wide range of requirements, from engaging promotional videos to large productions. We pull from a diverse pool of talent here in New Brunswick and love being able to give opportunities to as many people as possible while delivering content we are proud of.
