I am a co-founder of a technical recruitment startup that is disrupting the recruiting industry by using cutting edge technologies and data to simplify the process.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dviz Technologies, and what were your goals?

Recruitment in general and technical recruitment in particular is a process that requires meticulousness to ensure a professional service to both candidates and employers. Scaling such an operation manually becomes a heavy burden requiring an oversized staff. For this reason, we hired Dviz Technologies to build us a custom platform to handle our needs today and easily add new features in the future.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through a referral and considered them against 2 other vendors. They were selected based on their response times to or queries, competitive pricing and flexibility which was required to scope the project as we progressed.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They designed and developed (still developing other features) a platform that integrates with our ATS system as well as slack channels and folders on google drive. Data is aggregated on to the platform and workflows run in the background to score and automate tasks while maintaining a simple dashboard to monitor progress.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 2 people in the core team one focused on the backend development while the other one supporting front-end. We also had one Team Lead joining our end of Sprints to monitor progress.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have launched already two modules of the project currently used by the technical recruitment team. These two modules reduced manual work by over 80% and has given room for recruiters to focus more on candidate and lead sourcing.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Their project management was what you would expect from a tech company. They run bi-weekly sprints and a milestones approach while developing the platform. They also introduced us to Jira/Slack and communicated through Teams.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were easy to work with as the provided flexibility which was very important for us while scoping the project. They communicated well with our team who is not technical and were able to simplify things when feedback and a sense of direction was required.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It has been a good experience working with them as a team, and they bring a lot of expertise on board. As a non-tech professional I want to see things simplified and well documented to ensure continuity of business. We have addressed this to their tech lead and they are working on providing a user-friendly manual for the platform.

We use DVIZ for data collection and categorization. Our project involves sourcing a large amount of data from many sources and in different formats.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After several meetings and negotiations, DVIZ were selected based in their capabilities, flexibility, ability to provide out of the box solutions, and competitive commercial terms.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The project involves collecting data through scraping different sources and formats. Data then needs to feed into a database where it gets categorised, and then goes through multiple levels of QA, then feeds into a central data base to be utilised. DVIZ also worked on automating a significant part of this process.

4 resources, including the founder were involved.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are still going through the project and DVIZ has been instrumental in our progress. So far, the results are above expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Bi weekly calls, on demand calls, and continuous communication. The founder is hands on and plays a significant part in communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We like their flexibility and their ability to provide innovative solutions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes data needs an additional level of QA.

We worked with DVIZ on several data analytics projects.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We put an RFP. DVIZ went above and beyond both in helping us understand a refine our scoping and then in their delivery.

One project was a powerful transaction tool to understand and map customer behaviour. The amount of data was overwhelming for us as it included both transactions from our platform and those sourced through Open Banking. It all needed to be standardised, grouped and analysed for past trends before creating a ML forecasting model.

The founder and 3 of his team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We believe we created one of the most powerful budgeting analytics tools available. Even our Open Banking partner adjusted their own model with insights gathered alongside us and DVIZ.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Dviz Technologies team felt like part of our own.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The level of depth of their knowledge and the unbelievable turnaround times.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As the company expands, I hope they can keep the level of alignment we felt between our two teams.
