I’m the managing director of a technology and training company, and we design robotics solutions and products for the military.

We were in the market for a long-term partner to help our efforts in software development and engineering.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Droid Technologies provided us with custom software development. We started the partnership by discussing the scope of the project, which was then followed by the first quotation. After that, we visited their headquarters and got started on the development tasks right away. We communicated and collaborated throughout the duration of the work, and gave each other feedback openly.
What is the team composition?
We mainly worked with one engineer, but there were at least four people involved in the project.
How did you come to work with Droid Technologies?
I researched companies that can do both hardware and software engineering, and Droid Technologies was able to provide us with a prototype.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–December 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because of the pandemic, we weren’t able to do some demonstrations for our products, and we ended up abandoning some of our projects. However, we were able to create more opportunities for our products and build more POCs (Proofs of Concept) thanks to Droid Technologies. They helped us take the necessary steps to progress towards a more productive in 2021 and 2022.
How did Droid Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
Their approach to project management was great from beginning to end. They provided us with a very comprehensive service that informed us of the equipment involved, shipment details, and delivery dates. We mainly communicated through Skype and Zoom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was very impressed with their all-encompassing service package.

I can’t think of anything they need to change or improve on.
