**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder and co-owner of Liber & Co. We make craft cocktail syrups for home bartenders and professionals alike.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Dox?

We hired Dox to help us flesh out some video media for our website. We didn’t have much content about our products on the website, or with the cocktail recipes, so we wanted their help creating the content.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We started off by sitting down with them and going over the general vision we had. They took that information and we did some brand development exercises in which we defined the customer profile we’re targeting with our products. We also designed our brand voice with a character that can capture our brand. We used that to inform some scripting and drew up scripts using that voice for the product videos. 

On the day of filming, we set up a collaborative effort. We worked on the shots together and they incorporated our feedback and vision. 

They created quite a few videos for us, 28 in total. The recipe videos were about 4 minutes long each, with two recipes being covered in each video. For the product overview videos, we tried to keep them under one minute in length. 

How did you come to work with Dox?

We did some preliminary searches here in Austin, but one of the owners is a friend of ours since college, so we’d known them for quite a few years and knew they’d done good work. We’d seen some of the work they’ve shared, so we reached out when we had the need.How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $5,000–$10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May–June 2020. 

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re just now getting the videos so it is a bit early to judge the success. Anecdotally, we are getting really good feedback on social media channels about the videos. On YouTube, we’re getting subscribers and views that are completely unsolicited. We were blown away by their work and it was of high quality. We’re even talking with them about potentially fleshing out more videos for our YouTube channel because of how satisfied we are. 

How did Dox perform from a project management standpoint?

They communicated well and gave us reasonable expectations that they met. Nothing was delayed and everything went on schedule. We used Notion to manage the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were extremely professional and had a strong artistic eye that helped them understand the modern consumer. We were able to learn from them things we hadn’t considered before. They made our vision a reality that was better than we could have articulated before. We’d hire them again and plan to. 

Their prices were reasonable and in line with what we saw elsewhere. They were great listeners and very collaborative. They didn’t impose on our vision; they listened and wanted to make our idea a reality. They did exactly what we asked for and did it better than we could have done ourselves. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not that I can think of. This was a relatively contained project with our scope and expectations. I don’t think I would have done anything differently. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go for it. They are young, get it, and will knock it out of the park.
