Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a principal of ArtVersion, a full-service Creative Agency. We are a Chicago based company with a global footprint, serving brands worldwide. Our team consists of Strategists, Designers, and Developers.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Dolins Group, Ltd.?

We engaged The Dolins Group about a decade ago for our annual tax and accounting needs. Later we added additional services as our needs broadened.

What were your goals for this engagement?

As our agency continued to grow we needed a reliable partner to handle all the paperwork and regulatory requirements.

How did you select this vendor?

The Dolins Group was referred to us by our corporate attorney. We did our due diligence at the time and quickly realized their industry recognition, reputation, and presence as well as a broad range of service offerings.

Initially, we engaged only annually for year-end reviews and annual tax returns. Soon after we asked for help in other areas of accounting.

Describe their billing or cost structure.

Their billable hourly rate is in a similar range as firms of their caliber.

What was the team composition?

We collaborate regularly with multiple people from their team, having always one person as the main contact for day to day needs and access to senior staff for all business needs. Their team encompasses people with different expertise form Staff Accountant, Tax Manager, to Filling Manages and Accounting Software Specialists.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Accuracy, responsiveness and time sensitivity is something that we looked for and we were able to receive it from The Dolins Group consistently in a last 10 plus years.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their staff is highly task-driven and workflow/processes we put in place work both ways. The majority of communications are done via email with a few phone calls when needed.

Annual strategic face-to-face meetings for yearly reviews and conversations on the executive levels are allowing us to continually demonstrate efficiencies for both teams.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Professionalism and personable experience. We fell that The Dolins Group is an extension of our own team. Through all these years we become very close to people we work with on a regular base.

Trust and respect, knowledge and wisdom are the foundation of this relationship, we are more than happy with the qualities they bring to the table and taking from our hands' heavy tasks that allows my group to focus on what we do best.
