Please describe your company and your position there.

We offer demand management incentivisation with a web3 platform.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire DLTx Labs, and what were your goals?

We need to deliver a POC that incorporated customer meter data, energy market data, token generation and renewable energy consumed. We also need a project specific token generated and a smart contract that could hold the token and calculate a yield.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They we very knowledgeable and took the time to help us understand the scope of what we needed. They then offered a fixed rate for POC which meant we were not exposed to overrun. This offer was superior to anything any other firms offered.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The POC and closed beta was delivered over 11 sprints. During that time we were afforded lots of support and clarity on the path of development. We were also able to pivot a number of times when the situation changed and DLTX adjusted in a very agile way.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had support from a large team of developers, architects and testers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We hit the target and had a successful POC. This was a great outcome given we were developing a novel product that hadn't been done before. DLTX's estimation of the effort required was surprisingly accurate.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The experience was collegial and we felt we had support when needed. We felt we were in control but DLTX were also very good at communicating the outcomes of the decisions we were making which enabled us to make good choices in dev direction.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think it was the initial support when we were at concept stage only. As novices at software development we needed quite a bit of explanation and they were patient with us. Due to their work culture, it was also a fun experience as the platform was developed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think a bit more high level planning would of been ideal so could have known further in advance on how the POC would be developed.
