What challenge were you trying to address with DiSalvo LLC?

We were trying to hire some key personnel for our firm, so we hired DiSalvo.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed a candidate with implementation and tax experience for payroll; the person should also know the platform that we used. Our team did the onboarding and training of the candidate, and DiSalvo worked on finding the candidate and placing them with us. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with one of their owners. 

How did you come to work with DiSalvo LLC?

DiSalvo reached out to recruit me to another company. However, I told them that we were looking for a recruiter and asked if they could help us fill the positions we need. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from June–October 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

DiSalvo was able to find the right candidate for our company. In total, we used them for three different candidates. One was good but left before 90 days, while two of them are still with us today. 

How did DiSalvo LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a good job. DiSalvo went after people that had the experience and knowledge that we needed. To communicate, we used emails and phone calls. DiSalvo mainly used LinkedIn to find candidates. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

DiSalvo sold the dream to people. They were relentless in getting people to respond, ensuring that they engaged and followed up with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We stopped working with DiSalvo because their fees were too high. To be fair, after finding one good candidate, they ended up getting us five other good employees. In other words, we were able to acquire more great employees because of them — it was almost like they worked themselves out of the job.
