BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the General Manager for Solid Products Marketing and Promotions. Solid Products provides promotional products to the contractors and trades industry.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Shift ?

We hired Digital Shift to recreate our website into a custom build. Our former website was 6 years old and extremely outdated. We wanted a modern look that would take us into the next 5 years.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked at companies that catered to medium - large sized businesses, even though we are a small business. Our year over year growth is taking us to the next level and we needed a website that would grow with us.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We had two discovery meetings and two digital strategy meetings that really helped paved the way towards our goal. This was my first time project managing a website and Digital Shift made the process very intuitive and streamlined. After the discovery and strategy sessions, we entered the design phase, which was as streamlined as the rest of the process. Since we accomplished so much during the strategy, the first design proof was all we needed because it touched on all of our needs/desires.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with the digital asset creator for photography and videography, the copywriter, the designer and strategist during the entire process with each specializing in their space.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our overall web presence increased by more than 50% over the first 6 months of the website being live. Within the first year, we were receiving 5x the amount of online inquires and form submissions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication and the workflow between our team and Digital Shift was spot on. Their team was very responsive and I found them waiting on us more than the other way around. The team was quick to ask questions when there was a crossroad.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The pricing, communication and ease of the entire process was what has locked me as a current and future customer. Finding a team that specialized in not only what we needed at the time, but what we would need in the future was important to us and they delivered on all aspects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The quality is spot on and I would say there is nothing that I would have wanted to have occurred differently. Even in the middle of a pandemic, we were able to move at a quick, but comfortable pace.
