I’m the category and marketing manager for an automotive tire company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Obsession Communication Pvt Ltd?

We were looking for an SEO partner. Our website didn’t have any SEO engagement, so when we first onboarded Digital Obsession Communication, we focused on SEO and content creation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digital Obsession Communication helps us reach and maintain our traffic targets, especially when seasonality comes into play. They work on all our website content, including landing pages and blogs. There’s also some website management involved.

They’ve done keyword research, finding and giving us a number of relevant keywords. After we’ve discussed and approved those keywords, they’ve moved on to optimize the site accordingly.

We’ve occasionally assigned them small tasks to create articles for PPC campaigns, but our whole PPC endeavors are managed by another company.

Furthermore, we recently increased their scope of work to include SEO and content work on our e-commerce website.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with 5–6 people. There’s a client servicing manager who speaks with us regularly and a lot of other people involved. We initially asked to be introduced to everyone, so whenever we have a technical question, we can actually reach out to the people directly in charge.

How did you come to work with Digital Obsession Communication Pvt Ltd?

A friend was working with them and had positive reviews of their work. When we decided to work with them, we got figures from 3–4 other companies, but Digital Obsession Communication’s pitch was the most impactful and cost-efficient.

How much have you invested with them?

Initially, we were paying them approximately $1,600 a month for the SEO and content job. Since the scope has changed to include the e-commerce website as well, we’re now paying them about $2,600 a month for both websites. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started in April 2019, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our relationship with them has been very impactful. When another company was in charge of our SEO, our SEO-driven traffic was around 5,000–6,000 sessions per month. With Digital Obsession Communication, we’ve brought this up to 50,000 sessions a month in a span of 3–4 months. They’re working now with a 65,000 target every month. We increased traffic pretty quickly, so we’ve seen a big difference and are quite happy with the results they’ve delivered.

When it comes to rankings, we used to have a couple of branded keywords that were on the first page. Now, every keyword that’s important to us ranks on the first or second page at a maximum.

Additionally, we’re more than happy with the quality and amount of content that they produce. Their timeliness and costs work really well for us.

How did Digital Obsession Communication Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a dedicated service executive in case I don’t want to talk to the entire team. I do know who is working on each task, so I tend to call individuals and sharpen the work with them myself. We don’t have any issues regarding timelines or reachability.

We mostly use Excel for monthly reports where they show us the work that’s been completed and the SEO performance. I know they use other tools internally, but all information comes to me in an Excel format.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re always able to deliver, even when we add things to the scope of work. They’ll usually complete the work in the same amount of time and level of quality. It has been quite significant for us that they always deliver on their word.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We haven’t really had any problems with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise everybody to make the relationship with them as cost-efficient as possible. Have a management team working closely with them to look at what they’re reporting and what’s ideal for each client.
