Introduce your business and what you do there?

I’m a senior international product manager for Groupe SEB. We develop and sell small domestic appliances for kitchen or personal use, including frying pans, knives, multicookers and vacuums.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Business Lab?

We were looking for a creative agency to help with marketing content and video production to introduce our products to the market.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digital Business Lab helps develop marketing content to activate and promote our products. For video production, they create the storyline, present the storyboard, choose the actors, organize the shooting day, and edit the videos. We collaborate with them to improve the video outputs step-by-step by finding the perfect words and finalizing the dynamics.

Apart from that, they also create key visuals for the products, such as images and benefits we want to highlight. Currently, they’re developing our social media assets, including banners, and they help find the right picture and text to appeal to consumers — this is so we can draw them in to learn more about the product.

What is the team composition?

I work with two people. A project manager who organizes everything and provides creative guidelines, and someone who’s in charge of producing and editing the videos.

We began working together around August 2020, and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

It’s difficult to give quantitative metrics for this type of work, but I can say that the quality of their work meets our standards and expectations. I’ve also received positive feedback from management, collaborators, and the market.

How did Digital Business Lab perform from a project management standpoint?

The collaboration and communication have been extremely smooth. They’re always available and responsive, and we communicate through several tools including WhatsApp, Skype, and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a great agency with a lot of potential. They took great care of us from the beginning, and together, we built a good working relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While I was initially very impressed with the quality and speed of their work, they’ve grown to the point of their team being overloaded with projects. Their level of service is still good, but they should reinforce the team.
