We had problem tracking compliances for hundreds of clients and keep a tab on each compliance recurring every month. So, we hired Digiqt technolabs to build a cloud based application to manage all client, team and task at one place.

We had a brainstorming session related to product before finalizing the deal. I found Mr. Hitul of Digiqt Technolabs very helpful and knowledgeable in is domain, and we decided the proceed with development.

There were 5 people from tech team working with me from various department of design, backend, frontend.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to track all task for all our clients from single dashboard, it just made our life easy.

The project was managed very well, and we kept all communication tools very simple to Google Sheet and Chat to communicate. It was easy and fast to track every timelines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing was they were just one call away, open to discussion and the knowledge in tech domain was great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Quality of work was good and on time, after sales support was also great.

At Phyllo we are building an API gateway to access creator and independent work platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, Tiktok, Shopify, Upwork, and more). Using Phyllo, developers can get access to creators' and independent workers' consented data directly from source platforms. I am the Co-Founder of Phyllo and take care of engineering.

Web SDK is core to our product and is an entry point for our integration platform. When we started there were a lot of unknowns for the web SDK. DigiqT team was able to solve all of the unknowns and architected the application well.

We got the reference from YCombinator alum groups and we have got really good feedback from them. So we decided to go ahead with DigiqT.

We discussed the requirements during the first meeting. Post that we have shared the PRD for the product. They asked multiple questions and uncovered many scenarios. Released a beta version within 1 month and in the next 15 days, we were able to release it into production.

A product manager and 2 engineers worked with us.

We got very few bugs and the quality was good given the time constraint they had.

We synced every alternate day. Most of the discussion happened on slack in an async way. They met the promised timelines.

We hired Digiqt for developing scalable web apps built using ReactJS for the front-end and Nodejs for the back-end.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Digiqt was selected for the following reasons.

1) Interviews with the founder and the team, where we found them capable of delivery.

2) Prior experience of the founder in Insurtech that was aligned with our project goals.

3) Reasonable commercials vis-a-vis other vendors.

Scope of project included the following.

1) Develop the complete front-end for the product buy journey for retail health insurance.

2) Develop the rating engine for the retail health product based on the underwriting grid provided for the health insurance product.

3) Leverage APIs exposed by the core Policy administration system for proposal submission, policy issuance.

4) Handle a three-party integration between Edelweiss, Google Pay and payment gateway provider to complete the end-to-end journey including payment collection.

5) Implement the product analytics and MIS generation for tracking relevant metrics.

6) Successfully deploy the application on Edelweiss cloud infra after the approval from info-sec, legal, compliance and under-writing.

7) Provide 30-day support post the launch of the application on Google Pay.

A team of 4 developers worked with us, including 2 front-end and 2 back-end, as well as occasional involvement of the Digiqt founder

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

GooglePay Spot Integration was one of the first type of integration carried out successfully at Edelweiss General, that included a seamless user experience for the retail health product buy journey.

Digiqt team engaged with us on the Scrum methodology basis, where the team comprised of our product owner and their development team. Project progress was tracked using a tool called Asana. A daily time tracking sheet was also maintained that listed down the tasks accomplished in a given day by each team member.

A weekly governance meeting was scheduled between Digiqt and Edelweiss to monitor the project progress and discuss any challenges that need to be overcome from an overall project execution perspective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Digiqt team worked in a very collaborative and solution-oriented manner and was easy to work with. The team was open to discussing different solution approaches. They always strived to achieve the best solution, even if it required more effort.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As such we are highly satisfied by the deliverables from Digiqt. One area where we suggested improvements and they responded well was towards the need for quality control when the deliverables are deployed on our UAT environment. Post our suggestions, Digiqt team ensured that UAT environment was updated only after ensuring proper testing on their end.

I’m the founder of Unimorn Energy, a tech startup company. Our first solution for energy systems is already running.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digiqt Technolabs : Full-stack Web Development Expert?

Our solution had a cloud interface, so we needed consultancy for AWS.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digiqt helped us build a highly scalable IoT platform for monitoring and capturing solar panels and windfarm sensor data. They were responsible for the development and UI/UX. They also provided AWS consultancy. We wanted to make sure it was a vendor-agnostic cloud. They showed us the whole setup with AWS and how it could be replicated to other cloud storage. Then, they set the requirements and whole synergy for the cloud and designed our backend as well.

Initially, we explained the whole problem, and there was a lot of back and forth. When we had a new requirement, they’d offer a solution, and then we’d agree or disagree to it.

We didn’t want them to develop the whole thing because we wanted our entire team to be trained. Their work was primarily consultation, but they were also involved in multiple phases of our team-building process.

What is the team composition?

I only engaged with the project manager. I’m not sure how many people were on the team.

It was a complex project. We were scared we wouldn’t be able to find anyone who could deliver the solution. We approached 10–12 different companies and found them on LinkedIn. Digiqt was the only company with expertise in the various domains we required. They were suitable for a full-solution delivery.

We spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February-October 2019. When we’re in a crunch with something, we just drop them an email. It’s more like friendly advice.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They delivered good quality work for the price we paid. I’d highly refer them to anyone who looks for complex backend development with some frontend development.

How did Digiqt Technolabs : Full-stack Web Development Expert perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything was on par. We followed an agile methodology, so we worked in sprints. We used Google Chat and email for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They came from a business perspective and told us we needed to be scalable, which was very helpful for us. Overall, they cared about our project and budget. We trusted them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could add more technology. As far as I know, they were still using AWS, and maybe they should go with other cloud providers.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very clear with your requirements and who your customers are. We had a lot of back and forth going because I had a very blurred idea.

We wanted to develop microservice architecture for our streaming solution and have a realtime rewards platform .We documented the product and then had long discussions and brainstorming sessions with the Digiqt team to do the things best way possible. We used python ,django, nodejs, service bus, event hubs, redis , postgresql etc.

We used to directly work with the team for freezing requirements, brainstorm and they used to deliver the high quality code well within deadlines.

We were able to launch 3 critical deliverables to market with their help. They helped us navigate ambiguities and delivered the tested code on time.

I connected with the Founder on Linkedin and was impressed by his past work

We have worked with the Digiqt team on building the algo trading platform.

• They had coded trading dashboard, stocks real time scanning engine and alerting for us
• They also developed good looking UI for creating the stock scanning rules
• Digiqt team understood the requirements and later, divided the work in equal 15 days sprints
• On completion of each sprint we got the new version of the application with new features and previous sprint feedbacks work.

We had two senior software engineers hired from the Digiqt team and one tech lead hired for part time.
