We were looking for a company to help us with the QA process and operations

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The approach and skills of DeviQA as well as the pricing model were definitely ahead of all other competitors selected.

The main goal of the project was to first setup a QA process that suited the development methods in place at Simplifield. Then DeviQA was asked to operate this QA process on a daily basis with its teams.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have been working with a team of 3 including one leader and 2 engineers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome of the project was very good. The process was setup in time and the operations flow smoothly and according to our needs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There were no communication issues at all. English was the daily language. The tools (Jira, GitHub) in place to operate the process were perfectly adequate.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

DeviQA is very reactive and easy to reach. They were also very flexible.

I’m the CTO of Impaktsoft Projekt SRL. We develop custom native or hybrid apps (iOS and Android) and build full-time remote teams for clients throughout Europe.

We hired them to support our manual QA team with automatic testing.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to ensure our apps’ quality via automatic tests and continuous integration.

We found them online and gave them an initial test task. They finished it quickly and with good quality, so we gave them a try.

They’re doing automatic testing on our existing apps with continuous integration.  

What was the team composition?

We’re working with two manual testers, a QA manager, and an automatic test engineer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Now, users experience fewer bugs than they used to, meaning our clients are happier.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

DeviQA’s test engineers are self-organized and work fairly independently, so there’s little overhead on our side.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their experience, cost, and ability to scale resources up and down quickly are outstanding.

Communicating with management can be difficult, but it doesn’t impede us moving toward our goals.
