We partnered with Deview to take StorePilot, our AI-powered Shopify conversion app, to the next level. The product was already up and running; we brought DeView in to strengthen its analytics and AI capabilities, improve accuracy, and deliver more actionable insights for merchants.
Key improvements included:

• More accurate leak detection: Improved how StorePilot identifies conversion drop-offs across product pages, add-to-cart interactions, the cart, mobile experiences, and checkout—catching more genuine issues while reducing false positives.
• Smarter, store-specific recommendations: Made suggested fixes more relevant to each merchant, with clearer revenue impact estimates presented as realistic ranges rather than misleading single-point predictions.
• More reliable A/B testing: Refined experimentation logic to reach dependable conclusions more efficiently, with safeguards against declaring winners before the data supports them.

Clearer, more actionable reporting: Redesigned results views to help merchants understand what changed, how it affected revenue, and what to do next—without needing an analyst to interpret the data. Better performance and user experience: Optimized speed, usability, and overall product quality to align with Built for Shopify standards.
Throughout the engagement, we retained ownership of the product vision, merchant experience, and client relationships, while DeView worked as an extension of our team—bringing specialized AI and analytics expertise to help make StorePilot more accurate, effective, and valuable to merchants.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Deview could have done differently?

Honestly, not much. If anything, I'd have liked a bit more written documentation along the way, especially for the detection logic, so our own team could pick things up faster without needing a call. That's a small point, and they were always happy to walk us through anything we asked about.
