DevTechnosys is developing a website featuring a WebRTC component, user-generated video channels, booking capabilities, and live streaming. They took a collaborative approach to the site’s design.
DevTechnosys deftly includes all stakeholders in the process with their transparent project management system. They use the time difference to their advantage by delivering work by the start of the next business day. The team is patient, service-oriented, and responsive to feedback.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the founder of a company that helps fitness professionals and studios become known, more popular, and more easily found on the web. We broadcast their workouts live to multiple users who can interact with the instructors during seminars. It’s basically a matchmaking service between trainers and trainees. We also provide the ability to make local bookings through the website, and there is a fitness channel through which trainers can sell their videos.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
DevTechnosys is developing a responsive website that can work with smart TVs, tablets, and smartphones. They’re building it from scratch and integrating a WebRTC component, bookings, and so on. We will utilize CDN video technology for live transmissions. It gives us the ability to setup channels for trainers similar to what YouTube offers.
I did a lot of research on the technologies for the website, particularly the Kurento WebRTC platform, which is the most important part of our website.
We use the WebRTC technology in order to enable clients to transmit classes live to their followers. This is meant for smaller groups who interact with trainers live. Both clients and trainers see each other on the screen, so the interaction is two-way. The larger live streaming option doesn’t feature interaction.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
We reviewed multiple companies, looking to find the best fit for our project. DevTechnosys constantly tried to find out more about our project and had frequent calls with us. I found that there was real interest on their part. We answered their questions and sent an Excel requirements file featuring our homepage look, functionalities and so on, which DevTechnosys went through in detail. The other companies didn’t make the same effort to understand exactly what we wanted.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with DevTechnosys in January 2017. The first contact was actually in October or November 2016. The page design and one part of the HTML coding have been completed, and we’re within the programming stage. The development is a bit complex, since we have three websites in one, basically.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
So far, I’ve only received HTML code and designs, so there aren’t any functional parts of the website available. The response time is perfect, and the work done so far is great.
DevTechnosys is currently working on the backend of the site. Once I have that, I will be able to test the website with mock accounts.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Skype for the main part, as well as email. Whenever DevTechnosys’ team completes a part of the project, they will send it to us and ask for feedback. They will make any adjustments or corrections based on what I request. They’re very hardworking people. I was expecting the work to be completed faster, but we have a very complex project, so this hasn’t been possible. I was very picky from the beginning in terms of design, but DevTechnosys was able to include me in that process, and provided mockups to me. Every time I made a note on those mockups, I received fast responses from their team.
I am located in Vancouver and their team is in India. Even though we are in different time zones, I can send them feedback late in the day and receive a reply by next morning. DevTechnosys has been beyond my expectations, and I have no complaints.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
The service has been outstanding, as was DevTechnosys’ patience with me.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
I have nothing to say in this regard. Whenever I was not happy with something, I could tell them. DevTechnosys was always listening and trying to understand what I needed. They’re a very good company.

DevTechnosys developed a web-based gambling platform. They delivered thorough documentation of their plan of action, then delivered a complete platform with a classic design.
The DevTechnosys platform has received positive feedback and is of some renown in the target market. The team provided regular progress reports. Their project management and work style were successful.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We run a Pokies business here in Australia. Our system is connected with various data providers to get online games information. We allow users to play with it and make money. I am working as a financial manager cum business consultant here.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
The challenge was to develop this level of the platform. There are only a few companies available in the market who have a compatible team to turn my idea into reality. I tried with various companies but found DevTechnosys more capable than their competitors. They had good reviews, so I chose them to play with it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The scope was to create a website for our gambling business to allow Aussies to play poker and generate good money. So I started with a simple RFP [request for proposal] to give them a basic idea about my requirements. They then provided me a large amount of documentation that covered each and every function of my project, and they made suggestions to improve on my original idea. From that, I found myself confident enough to move forward with them. They made a classical design and provided me a perfect flow to work on every single phase of the project.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
After a lot of internet research, I found few organizations with good backgrounds and reputations to discuss my project idea with. After spending a lot of time in communication with these companies, I found DevTechnosys very technical, thoughtful, and compatible with my project requirements. I chose them.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project was started in April 2016 and completed in January 2017.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We have a good audience now and you can find us over gambling-specific networks in Australia by name of Pokies. We are quite famous and getting good responses from our targeted network. There could be more specific metrics available after some time has passed.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
The project management methodology and style delivers. They are greedy for work and never compromise with quality. They always submit a weekly report that covers completed tasks and scheduled tasks for the next week. This was the main thing that made my project successful. I think they are very good with their project management skills; hats off to their project manager.
Are there any DevTechnosys could improve?
Not really, I am happy with their performance.

DevTechnosys conducted a complete overhaul of a medical practice’s website, incorporating modernized features like calendar integration, online booking, moving images, and blog capabilities.
The updated website now generates most of the clinic’s patient load, creating a 40% business increase within the past year. DevTechnosys’ Wordpress experience, attention to detail, and reasonable price point make them an excellent partner.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am an osteopath running a healthcare business. We treat patients with various types of injuries and pain, using manual techniques to help them get back to normal. I am a founder of the practice, along with a business partner.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
Our old website was quite dated, so we needed to bring it up to modern standards and add some more modern features such as moving images, online booking, and a blog.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
DevTechnosys helped us with a major overhaul of our website. We kept the existing format but added quite a bit to its scale, including an online booking system, a blog, some moving images, and extra content. We don’t have any payment functionalities on the site. The booking tool integrates with our internal calendar, Cliniko.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
I found DevTechnosys on Upwork. I’d worked with another developer I found on that platform, but his English turned out to be not very good. The communication was difficult, so I had problems explaining what I really wanted. I was looking for a developer with good language skills who had completed a fair bit of work already. They needed to have experience with WordPress blogs and with adding extra features. These factors are what made me choose DevTechnosys.
How much have you invested with DevTechnosys?
The cost of DevTechnosys’ work was around £5,000 [$6,500].
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October of 2016 and completed the project in December. DevTechnosys has made a number of tweaks on our website since the original project, and we plan to use them in the future. The website is working fine for us at the moment, but we will potentially be changing some elements on it.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?
I don’t have specific numbers, but our website does generate much of our business. The online booking feature has made a big difference. It has saved us money in terms of phone calls and time. Trends vary, but our business is growing; we’re up by 30–40% compared to the same period in 2016.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
I mainly messaged them on the Upwork platform. DevTechnosys usually got back to me within a couple of hours and always had solutions to my queries. I also spoke to one of their contacts on Skype. English-wise, she was very good, so I could communicate clearly and effectively.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
If something isn’t quite right, DevTechnosys will adjust it quickly.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
I can’t really fault them. I was passed on to another contact, which was a bit of a surprise, but the transition was pretty smooth.

DevTechnosys built MVPs for a website and mobile app. Starting with design consultation, they tested and developed user profiles, buyer and seller user types, photo filtering, social timelines, and analytics.
Although the app is new and data is limited, DevTechnosys has handled all emerging issues in a timely manner. Always available, DevTechnosys delivers daily reports and delegated responsibly. They have shown the ability to listen, plus execute the technical requirements of this evolving project.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this

transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
The client is a car buying services company. I’m CEO.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
We needed an MVP in the form of a website and mobile app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us work out the functionalities and the initial mockups and designs. We worked on the documentation of the functionalities and the whole concept to make sense out of it and making sure we’re all on the same page. I had some wireframes that I had already worked on with a local designer that is no longer working with us. DevTechnosys picked up where that designer left off and we worked together on the wireframes. We launched that project last year and did a lot of testing. With the feedback we received, we are now building the MVP as a native application on iOS and Android.
We divided the project into milestones and started with the login features. Every buyer can create their profile and we also had to work with changing their passwords and getting the certifications that come with that. There were some specifications on the profile that was very important to us so we worked on building that profile on the buyer side. Then we started working on the dealer side of things. We work directly with salespeople at the dealership so it’s a complex thing. There are accounts that we create on the admin level but then the users of the app are the actual salespeople at the store. We had to set up the admin system to create the dealership accounts for every new client. Then we generate a referral code that the salespeople can use to either login or create accounts through the app so they attach to the store they work at.
There is also Facebook login feature and a two-sided app like Uber or Lyft where there’s a side for buyers and another profile side for dealerships and sales people. Another aspect is the administrator backend for me and my team where we can review stats and metrics and make changes to certain parts of the app. We have photo editing where dealers will be posting photos and videos. There’s a filter feature like Instagram and a comment feature. We’re also working on a feature that’s a timeline where people can share activities when researching and buying a car. They can share that with their Facebook friends and their friends can comment.
As an MVP, there were things that we weren’t completely clear on. We had an idea of how we wanted things to work but we had to test it at the store and talk with our clients to see if it worked. DevTechnosys has been helping us like a tech team instead of us just giving them instruction. They help us figure things out. We’ve built 80% of the entire app on the dealer side, admin, and buyer side.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
I posted a job on Upwork. There were a bunch of candidates that applied and I looked through their credentials and reviewed their ratings on Upwork. We vetted three companies and DevTechnosys seemed interesting. I talked with them and what sparked me was their availability. They were very responsive. For me, if I have to work with a company overseas, they need to be responsive. Some of the other people we were trying to work with were freelancers, which was not something I wanted because it’s just one person. DevTechnosys had a team. So we had a Skype call with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in November 2016. We’ll be done working with them in the next three months because I’m hiring a local developer to develop the app to speed the process up. I’d like to be able to talk to the developer in person rather than mess with the time difference.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
In the past month, we’ve had three to four bugs that we or our users discovered. For example, I found a problem with the server but it was fixed overnight. We have 20 users.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
They have two project managers that we work with. One oversees everything with the sales aspect. The other project manager is technical and handles the team. We tell the PMs our needs and they communicate those requirements to the rest of the team. We get a review every day except weekends. They do work weekends if we’re getting behind on a milestone. They’re very available and very responsive, which is something I really like. Whenever one PM isn’t available, the other is. One of my concerns with overseas companies is the language barrier. I like the fact that the DevTechnosys PMs speak English well. In terms of deadlines, they’re really good. We’ve been behind on a few occasions but I wouldn’t say it was always their fault. We don’t have all the answers on the project yet. If I know exactly what I want and I tell them, they are good at estimating the time it will take. Overall, I’m satisfied with the timelines. We use Excel to track bugs.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
The thing they’ve done really well is being available and listening to what we’re trying to do. I think it’s very important, when working with people you can’t see or meet, that they listen and that they are available 24/7 to take care of what needs to be taken care of as soon as possible. I truly appreciate that about them and it’s one of the reasons I continued working with them after we released the website and did the testing. I could’ve hired a new team to work on the app after the website but I went with DevTechnosys mainly because they were available and they have the technical capabilities to implement most of the features we’re looking for.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
They could maybe get the backend team to pay more attention to grammar. Some of the tech people on the backend don’t speak as good of English and sometimes there’s something that slips through like a punctuation mistake. It’s very technical and the backend isn’t something I can edit myself. They’ve improved a lot but it’s something they need to continue to improve. The PMs have been working to doublecheck those things as well.

DevTechnosys provided frontend development for scheduling software. They wrote code for buying services by zip code, integrating GPS, calendar, and payment capabilities. They also built a custom admin panel.
DevTechnosys’ work has led to a massive increase in appointment bookings through the website. While their design skills were good, their code was exceptional. Although time zones were a challenge, DevTechnosys provided excellent project management and customer service.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the creative director for flamingofix.com, a mobile cell phone repair company. We have a fleet of vans that drive to people’s locations to fix their mobile devices. I developed all the branding, marketing strategies, and search engine optimization, and designed the scheduling software that went into the website itself.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
I worked directly with DevTechnosys on frontend web development of the website over the last several months.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
All that we required was really simple: we needed a really good scheduling software that was easy to access quickly. The parameters that I put on them was from landing page to entering a credit card, I wanted it to be in 90 seconds. We actually hit that goal at one point. I was pretty impressed with them on that front. But it wasn’t really feasible for the customer to have to take that little amount of time. We ended up streamlining things that didn’t necessarily need to be streamlined. The scheduling software itself was the whole crux of the website, and they did a great job developing it. It was zip-code specific. They had to write algorithms for selecting by the zip code of where our vans were. They did an impressive piece of coding as far as that goes.
The CMS was custom built, and they did it all within the confines of the cPanel that they purchased from GoDaddy to put everything at. They built a custom admin panel for the website, which I assume they do for all of their sites. You log on with an assigned username and password, and you can create and edit the parameters of the site as you see fit. It is similar to what you would do in Shopify. It was a nice feature.
They were able to incorporate Google Maps when we asked for it. It’s at the bottom of our homepage. I’m sure it’s housed in the actual coding of the cPanel, but it’s not editable from the admin panel from the site.
Other than that, they did a basic landing page. It was pretty long because it was a floating landing page. They actually did some design themselves, a lot of which we had to go back and tweak on the frontend. We would provide them with assets, and they would make the corrections.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
I didn't find them; it was our CEO. He found them through a friend who referred him to a service called Upwork. They were one of the highest-rated companies on Upwork. We went with them because their rating was so good, and it worked out.
How much have you invested with DevTechnosys?
It was around $11,000. We had some revisions that went beyond what we had originally agreed upon, which they were very happy to oblige. That ended up costing us a little more.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in August 2016. I was with a different employer, and then FlamingoFix hired me as creative director in October 2016 to step in and manage the project. They delivered the website in January 2017. The website was not functioning until February 2017 because there were some tweaks we had to do which took its course through February. It wasn’t necessarily their fault.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have any metrics yet. I think it’s too soon to say since we have just been going for a month and a half now. I will say that, simultaneous to completion, we’ll launch all of our marketing campaigns as far as SEO, SEM, and Facebook ads. I couldn’t give exact numbers, but we have definitely seen a massive influx in appointment bookings over the course of the last three and a half weeks that we have been running. There are no issues. They haven’t had to go back in because of broken links or anything like that. They tidied up well.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
We used the built-in messaging system on Upwork to communicate with them. You are able to upload project files and screenshots to show what you’re talking about. It has their whole team and ours in the chatroom at the same time. I was the main person from my side that communicated with them. In case our CEO wanted to step in and say anything, he was able to do that really easily. There are other avenues that they can do, but that’s what they default to. We did communicate via email a few times if I had to send a large Photoshop document that Upwork couldn’t handle for bandwidth reasons.
Towards the last few months, when everything is tedious work over small, semantic tweaks, I would Skype a lot with Satyendra, the project manager. He was always the point of contact and always very helpful and accommodating. His English is good.
The time difference is a little rough. There were nights where I had to stay up late to Skype or communicate with them because of the nature of the time zone. But by the time we got off the phone and wake up several hours later, the revisions were done, no matter how many I had given them. They work very quickly.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
The team is very efficient. You give them a task. That task is a nail and they’re hammers—they get it done over the course of a few hours, which is awesome, especially from a frontend developer standpoint. When you have to make several tweaks when you’re working with someone from a long distance, you can’t pull them into your office and show it to them on your computer. You have to pull it up on Skype and screen share it. When it’s like that, it becomes more tedious and there are more revisions involved than if you’re working with someone desk to desk. Still, I would say they are super efficient.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
One thing I would say against them is that they’re super technically minded—mechanical and good at coding—but not amazing at design. They’re good, but not necessarily to the standards we needed. We had to go back in, do some frontend development in Photoshop and InDesign, and then send them the assets. Once I did that, they would replicate it to a tee.
Also, I wish that the time zone thing was compensated on their end, as opposed to the clients’ end. I think that it would be a great customer service aspect. Customer service-wise, they should cater to the needs of the client. I’m certain that a majority of their clientele is in the US. If the customer is in California, then they should try to revolve their team working on that project on the client’s specific time zone, as opposed to their time zone. Some of the late nights weren’t always awesome having to stay up to 1 or 2 AM.

A fashion retailer needed to tack on pre-order management capability to their existing e-commerce presence and switched to DevTechnosys as a result.
DevTechnosys bid and met the client's fast development horizon to ensure pre-order was ready when needed. The site has performed well in initial testing.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the lead designer and manager of an online retail company that sells men’s clothes.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
We needed somebody to quickly develop a website that could handle preorders. We had another developer prior to DevTechnosys, but that relationship didn’t work out and we needed to start from scratch.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We gave them guidelines of what we were looking for, and they designed and developed the complete website. They used HTML to build the website.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
We researched companies online and may have found DevTechnosys on Clutch.co. We got quotes from another company besides them but decided to use DevTechnosys because they gave us a shorter timeline. We were anxious to get the project started because we had a certain deadline to meet.
How much have you invested with DevTechnosys?
We spent between $10,000 and $50,000 on the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in November 2016, and the project was completed in February 2017.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t launched the site yet because we’re still testing it. So far, their work has been very good.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
We had a project manager and we also spoke with the lead developer through Slack.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
They were able to meet the deadline we set.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
Sometimes, there was difficulty communicating because of the time difference. However, that got better over time once we synced our schedules. I wouldn’t say that’s a criticism of them.

DevTechnosys was contracted to develop and design a website on WordPress with a PHP backend that allows customers to edit and manipulate images before they are printed.
DevTechnosys set themselves apart from other providers with their meticulous project management and constant, in-depth communication. They demonstrated a full understanding of the project from the beginning and quickly corrected any bugs that appeared.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a printing and imaging company offering wide-format printers, plotters, as well as service and supplies for those products. I am the owner of the company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
We have a production department for printing photography and graphics on backlit material, so we wanted to build a website which would allow customers to edit images, add filters and so on. It would serve as a livelier environment for visualizing what the end-product would be.
SOLUTION
Introduce your business and what you do there.
DevTechnosys developed the full scope of our WordPress site. It uses PHP on the backend.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
I found DevTechnosys through Upwork. I posted a job and received different quotes from across the world. DevTechnosys' work was compatible with what I wanted; it looked professional and legitimate. I had a phone conversation with DevTechnosys' team, explained what I wanted, and received a list of tasks by the next day. Devtechnosys had a very good understanding of what I was aiming for.
How much have you invested with DevTechnosys?
The cost of DevTechnosys' work, including our website development and three months of support, was $12,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with DevTechnosys in late-2016. We were supposed to have a one-month turnaround, but have exceeded it by a bit, mainly because of my side. The project is completed, and we have only a few things to address around the server integration.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We are based in Las Vegas and have good connections with larger firms for graphics equipment and supplies. We also provide overflow printing services, so we have given several clients access to the new site. They've been impressed with what we've been able to do.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
DevTechnosys was very good regarding communication. Anything I identified in the testing phase, was quickly fixed. I was given a full scope in writing, including every single step of the process, from design to development and testing. Our communication was done through Skype and Upwork. DevTechnosys is in a different time zone, but they've responded to us even late at night.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
I've contracted different developers over time, both locally and through Upwork. As far as the process goes, DevTechnosys distinguished itself through an ability to follow step-by-step instructions and understanding what I wanted almost fully after a single conversation.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
No. DevTechnosys has been quick to respond and solve any bugs we encountered.

DevTechnosys did a full stack development and design for the company's website, continually adding functionality as needed to help them better cater to the US and Saudi markets they serve.
Project management and customer service were two notable areas where DevTechnosys excelled, maintaining constant communication and due diligence that separated them from competitors, as well as making themselves accessible to a non-technical audience.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of this startup business for US and Saudi markets. Before I registered the company, I wanted to do basic things like web and mobile development, along with some market presence and digital marketing stuff. I am also searching the place where my product can fit according to market needs. We are working with DevTechnosys for this and we have almost finished our website. We are now fine tuning some enhancements according to market need. After successfully launching the website, we will start working on the mobile app.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
I am a graduate and am now study political science. I wanted to handle my side business at the same time, so I thought to launch a market classified website and app in the US and Saudi Arabia. But since I am studying in a different stream, I do not have any idea of how to start my business. To convert my dream into reality, I needed complete assistance with my website and other things, as I am not a technical person. I knew I needed a partner. That’s why I began to consider companies to work with and ended my search with DevTechnosys.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
DevTechnosys developed everything from scratch. They handled all of the technical work under my supervision. First, they developed the software requirements specification according to the classified web, and then they gave us the design according to our need, along with completed development. DevTechnosys pretty much provided all the design and development service to me.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
I found DevTechnosys on Clutch and I contacted one of their business analysts. I discussed my idea to get a sense of how much the whole project would cost. During the initial discussion, DevTechnosys brought us many helpful suggestions for the project. I also spoke with other providers, but DevTechnosys was fast to reply to my queries and suggested great ideas. Other providers didn’t even attempt to suggest anything. DevTechnosys wanted to get my business and nothing else.
How much have you invested with DevTechnosys?
The total development cost was between $9,000 and $11,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The website was completed one week ago and now we are working on fine tuning some details and doing some enhancements. The project was started in October 2016 and completed in the second week of January 2017. The project is still ongoing due to the enhancements, and my plan is to develop a mobile app as well with DevTechnosys.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
DevTechnosys did an excellent job throughout the whole project and is working on enhancements. Since we’re in a starting phase, we still don’t have any metrics to share. All team members are very professional and are always willing to make sure I’m satisfied with the deliverables at all times. They’re also always available in my time zone. DevTechnosys let me know that any changes within the first three months would be taken care of free of cost. It is definitely a pleasure to work with the DevTechnosys team.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management perspective?
The project is within the specified budget but slightly off schedule due to my own request to add more functionality to the site. They managed everything and sent me milestone deliverables for my approval from time to time. We communicated almost on a daily basis over email, Skype, and WhatsApp. They have great customer service and explain everything step by step.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
This is my first project.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
We haven't encountered any issues with them. They always delivered on time and fixed any issues quickly.

DevTechnosys built, designed, and provides support for a custom web-based member application using KPHP that compares members of the site by calculating the ratio of positive to negative variables.
The application has received unanimously positive feedback based on it's design and usability. DevTechnosys has provided consistent project management, met all deadlines, and kept the cost competitive giving the company the ability to build an application that would have exceeded a US budget.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Self-Match is a brand-new, single member LLC company. I came up with the idea of creating a compatibility application for partners where people can explore their compatibility with potential partners by creating custom-based surveys, sending them to their partner, and getting matching results. The idea is that after a user has found a partner on a dating site, then they can explore if that partner is right for them. My website has more than 300 questions that the user can use to create a custom survey. I'm the founder and managing member.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
I needed a company to help me build a fully custom web-based membership application.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
There are different membership levels and a calculator to calculate the ratio of positive to negative in order to compare partners. The coding language they're using is KPHP.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
I knew I wouldn't be able to afford a company in the U.S., so I searched out a company in India. I narrowed my search to 8 companies. I wrote and sent a project description to each company. All of them said they could do the work and gave me a quote. What I liked about DevTechnosys was they asked lots of questions. They were very interested in my project and wanted to know all the details. They also offered ideas that could improve the project.
How much have you invested with DevTechnosys?
I have spent between $10,000 and $20,000 on the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began the project in October 2016, and the project is ongoing. I hope to continue working with them because I have many ideas to improve the website.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We are a couple weeks away from launching. Some of my friends and colleagues have tried out the app, and everybody loves the design. I think it's a cool design. It's very user-friendly, and I hope it will be successful.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
I communicate every day with the project manager. There were a couple of setbacks, but I think that's because I'm picky, and I came up with new ideas along the way. They've been very responsive. They respond within 24 hours, pay attention to the feedback I give them, and implement my requests.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
I've never worked with anyone else except for negotiating with other firms on this project. None of them were as personable and enthusiastic as DevTechnosys. They pay attention to detail and try to see your vision and implement to the best of their professional abilities.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
We both underestimated the difficulty of the project, so the project has been delayed, but that's not a problem. I come up with new ideas, and they're very patiently working with me. The different levels of membership and what each level can access them has been complex.

DevTechnosys integrated e-commerce capabilities as well as an online portal using HTML coding to an existing website to allow customers to design and buy custom headstones online.
Providing a great value, and consistent, high-quality results in a timely manner were instrumental in the success of the projects, four areas where DevTechnosys performed beyond all expectation. Despite location and differences in time zone, communication was consistent.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Utah Headstone Design provides headstone engraving and design for all cemeteries in Utah. We have 2 different offices, in Layton and Salt Lake City.
I am the general manager of the Salt Lake City location. I handle all company marketing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DevTechnosys?
We wanted to be more up to date and technologically-savvy, bringing new ideas to our online presence. The younger generation prefers doing things online, so offering e-commerce capabilities was important.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
DevTechnosys developed a designer tool which people could use in order to go through the entire process online, without going to a physical location.
We had tried to build these functionalities in the past, but the company we used simply put together some plug-ins. DevTechnosys provided a lot of custom HTML coding, giving us exactly what we wanted.
How did you come to work with DevTechnosys?
There were many companies to choose from, but we hired DevTechnosys after looking at some of their past work. It was what I needed in terms of quality. I had opted for cheaper services in the past, but I needed something more.
How much have you invested with DevTechnosys?
The cost of DevTechnosys' services was around $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with DevTechnosys in October 2016.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
The site is still too new to quantify metrics for it.
How did DevTechnosys perform from a project management standpoint?
DevTechnosys has responded to and completed any change requests I gave them within a couple of days. I've appreciated DevTechnosys' project management, and would definitely use them again.
What did you find most impressive about DevTechnosys?
I appreciate DevTechnosys' timeliness and how much they seem to care about what I say. Other partners I've worked with pushed back on my ideas, but DevTechnosys handled everything I gave them.
Are there any areas DevTechnosys could improve?
Because DevTechnosys is based in India, there is sometimes a lag in our phone calls which can become frustrating. We've been able to resolve that by communicating through email. It's the only issue I have with DevTechnosys.
