We engaged with thedesigncapital to develop a seamless mobile app for instant AI-based healthcare suggestions. Their expertise guided us in mapping out the project, focusing on UX/UI design, A/B testing, and usability optimization. The scope was flexible & somewhat blurred initially, but their design experts helped us define clear objectives and implement design solutions tailored to our needs. Our initial primary goals were to reduce onboarding friction and improve user conversion rates without compromising with a personalized experience for each target persona. 
Our team was really satisfied with the comprehensive documentation they provided, including source design files in Figma, research materials such as user journeys and feature prioritization, and developer hand-off documentation for seamless implementation. Additionally, they also delivered design systems and style guides for consistency, along with thorough testing and feedback reports to refine the app. Audit documents were also provided to enhance conversion optimization efforts.

We were impressed by their approach to subscription-based design services where we get unlimited design at a fixed monthly fee. We were initially hesitant as we took a calculative plunge, we can really say that it saved us a lot of time & money from usual back-and-forth with undefined budgets & scope. Their comprehensive deliverables and developer-friendly approach enabled us to swiftly translate designs into a functional app within a month. They used a mix of project boards, emails, and even Slack – whatever worked best for us. Communication with thedesigncapital was flawless, which is rare these days.

Are there any areas for improvement or something thedesigncapital could have done differently?

While overall we are satisfied, we did encounter 2-3 days delays in receiving the testing report. Understandably, testing is a dynamic process, but optimizing their testing procedures to meet defined deadlines would be beneficial.
