I hired this company to design a logo for a hobby project of mine.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Bait and switch and games is the MO of this business. I hired them to create a logo for me and paid them in full. They designed a logo and the initial design process went very smoothly--which made me think I had made the right decision to hire these folks.

Once the logo was done and it was time for them to deliver the final files to me, I was told that I needed to speak with the "legal department"-curious, I told them fine. A kid calls me and tell me he is from the "legal department" and tells me that I need to register the copyright of the logo before I can use it.

As an attorney, I found that to be strange and told him I can register the logo myself if needed, I know the process and that if they are telling me that I cannot use the logo for which I have paid for, then we will have issues since I am an attorney. Right away he back tracks and says we are sending you the files.

They sent me the files. When it came time for me t use the files, I learned they were too small. I contacted the company and told them the files are too small--Ben--the person I dealt with all along--tells me that if I want the high resolution files it will "cost me additional penny..." So, long story short, stay away from these clowns!! It is a bait and switch company and they try to up-sale you using shady methods. I would not recommend them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was not effective since I did not get the product for which I paid for.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their uncanny ability to engage in various forms of bait and switch and misleading statements.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Yes--there is always time and room to run an honest business.
