I’m the e-commerce growth manager of NexaCommerce Solutions, a B2B e-commerce consulting and operations agency that helps brands scale their supply chain and logistics.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Depoter to accomplish for NexaCommerce Solutions?

We needed help to automate and centralize our logistics to streamline B2B and D2C order fulfillment across multiple marketplace channels into a single operational system. We also needed to connect our e-commerce operations seamlessly with Depoter's WMS and inventory management tools for real-time tracking. Additionally, we wanted to reduce fulfillment delays and optimize warehouse picking, packing, and dispatch speed to improve overall delivery turnaround times and customer satisfaction. Lastly, we wanted to scale regional distribution and establish efficient inventory storage and multi-channel fulfillment capabilities across regional hubs without operational bottlenecks.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve engaged Depoter to manage our end-to-end e-commerce supply chain, warehousing operations, and multi-channel fulfillment network. The team has centralized warehousing and inventory management, including multi-channel stock storage, real-time inventory level synchronization, and batch/SKU tracking using their WMS. They also handle D2C and B2B order fulfillment, including complete pick, pack, and dispatch operations for both direct-to-consumer orders and wholesale/B2B inventory movements.Moreover, Depoter has integrated our e-commerce and ERP systems, including seamless API integration connecting our sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, and regional marketplaces) with their fulfillment tech platform for automated order flow. The team also manages courier and last-mile delivery, including integration with multiple shipping and courier partners for real-time tracking, fast dispatch, and optimized regional shipping costs. Finally, they handle returns and RTOs, including complete processing of customer returns, quality check audits on returned stock, and restructuring item disposition back into available inventory.In addition to these services, Depoter provides custom analytics and reporting, including custom dashboards tracking key logistics metrics, such as order fulfillment cycles, delivery SLA compliance, inventory turnover rates, and return/RTO percentages. The team also offers proactive account support through a dedicated account manager who coordinates daily operations, resolves warehouse/shipping exceptions, and assists during peak sales periods. Moreover, they provide system adjustments and ongoing maintenance, including regular tech support for API integrations, updating SKU/inventory mappings, and configuring operational workflows as our sales channels expand.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Depoter has helped us achieve 50% faster order processing and cut down average order fulfillment and dispatch times from 24 hours to same-day/next-day turnaround. We’ve also achieved 99.8% order accuracy and a near-perfect order accuracy rate, drastically reducing shipping errors, missing items, and mis-picks. Moreover, we’ve seen a 30% reduction in return/RTO processing time and streamlined customer return workflows and inventory restocking, making returned stock sellable faster. Finally, we’ve achieved 100% real-time inventory visibility and successfully synced multi-channel stock levels across Shopify, Amazon, and marketplaces, completely eliminating stockouts and overselling issues.

Instead of just acting as a vendor, their team actively optimizes our shipping routes and fulfillment workflows to help reduce operational costs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, their execution is solid, but a couple of minor enhancements would make the experience even smoother. Expanding self-serve customization options within their client portal, like generating customized ad hoc analytics reports, would add extra convenience. Moreover, providing more frequent, proactive updates on regional courier rate changes or new carrier additions ahead of time would help in forward planning.
