BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We provide AI development, R&D services, completing projects, its locations, relevant contacts and human resources for launching and demonstrating recycling and green energy technologies in Belarus. We work with Canadian, US and other international partners. Founded in 2019. We are growing fast and hiring more employees constantly. I am an assistant of CEO.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire DEIP?

All our projects use solutions that involve large number of IP related steps and patenting. Handling it usual way is cumbersome, time consuming and adds expenses. We had started looking for emerging digital solutions to optimize this process.

What were your goals for this project?

The solution has to be fast in handling IP in secure way and simple for both sides of the deal to work with, providing trusted channel and proper information exchange.

How did you select this vendor?

We were looking for blockchain experts and asking personal contacts in IT related fields. A few of them recommended DEIP and its team as a point to start with. We found other companies as well but they did not provide as complete as cost effective solution compared to DEIP platform.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

It is an ongoing project. We have formulated UX/UI and functionality required to handle project IP flows. Blocks of DEIP platform to be used are identified and are being integrated. It will take a few more months to have the first prototype for testing.

What was the team composition?

The team formed consists of five people. Two people from our side to consult on functionality (CEO and his assistant) and three from DEIP side - manager, developer and UX/UI specialist. Other consulting is outsourced as particular questions arise.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

It is too early to see the impact. Once the product launched we estimate to see up to 80% savings in cost and time while reducing the overhead of IP related tasks in our projects.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The DEIP manager uses effective online and mobile tools to coordinate project advancements. We have not experienced any hangups since we started.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Technology and structure of the platform and underlying capabilities.

Are there any areas for improvement?

For DEIP the main improvement will be growth in support and ability to expand its team. As our project proceeds closer to closure we will identify the areas of further development.

We endeavor to connect people and communities with the means to improve the quality of lives through the development and implementation of renewable and sustainable technologies, business and management practices to be deployed in our WECO2 and WECO2 Park platforms. Company is formed in 2019 from project of several companies that ran greenhouse recycling since 1995. I am a director of R&D department.

Our ecopark infrastructure requires transparent, secure and scalable digital platform. Members and supporters of our community need economically and environmentally driven access and participation in our R&D projects.

What were your goals for this project?

We were looking for blockchain solution that can be customized and realize key functionalities of our R&D process and interactions between members.

How did you select this vendor?

DEIP was noticed by our R&D director while looking for blockchain based services. CEO of the company had met the others but they did not fit the vision lacking necessary features.

At the moment of ongoing project with them DEIP team prepares designs to get to the development phase. They closely has been consulting with us on a regular basis, iterating the final solution to fit our vision.

What was the team composition?

Initial team is made of three people - business director, technical director and designer. It's expected to expand as this project unfolds.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

By our purposeful design the solution will have direct impact on realization and operation of eco-park (WECO2 park) platform.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Roles and inter communications were quickly organized for the specific goal of the project. It kicked off right away. The team is organized and communicative.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Flexibility and scalability of hybrid Blockchain, its outreach potential.

Are there any areas for improvement?

More customers and clients so they can grow faster and expand their crew and technology.
