From doing part time jobs while studying, to consulting different companies, We discovered a few issues within the industry and decided to solve them.
It ties to us personally. When we came to Canada, got to know about credit history being important here in Canada & US and Identity theft is a big issue.
In the early days, one of our friend’s identity got stolen, had 2 loans in his name, which he didn’t even know existed. This happened because the accounting firm which he was using for filing taxes, their email got compromised, which not just leaked our friend’s sensitive documents like passport, SIN, bank details, licence, CRA information, name it any but all their client’s as well.
This was the first event which made us think how big this issue was, And it just pivoted from here! Over the years we discovered many security issues including compliance, visibility, and so much manual security not just limited to the accounting firms, but fintechs, real estate, and other tech industries.
