Please describe your company and your position there.

Engworks is a building information modeling (BIM) company dedicated to helping the construction industry be more effective. I am responsible for product development and marketing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Deep Vision?

We hired Deep Vision to help us with a specific innovation project. It was an exploratory project. The construction industry is being impacted by all kinds of new technologies, and as part of our dedication to staying competitive, we constantly invest in exploratory projects to improve our value proposition.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to learn more about computer vision technologies, their applications and their limitations to see how we could use them to improve our current services.

We chose them based on referrals. We considered multiple companies, but Deep Vision proved to be the best fit due to their open-minded nature.

Our team was composed of engineers and architects and our marketing department.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We consider the project a success because we now have a good understanding of computer vision technologies and their current applications and limitations. The exploratory project was a success in our opinion.

Both teams were extremely proactive and creative. Our goal was to innovate and they helped us do just that.
