We were developing a tool to detect and eliminate mosquitoes. They helped us develop the AI & ML model that could detect the mosquitoes and get on to the next stage of neutralising them.

They were introduced as a young company eager to collaborate and unafraid to learn and try new things.

Scope of work was to develop a model to detect mosquitoes with more than 90% accuracy. They delivered the tool using AI & ML tools and used various models to create the relevant data sets.

Around 4 people worked on the project directly with us. The owners also involved themselves and were proactive.

The model was delivered so as to allow us to move to the next stage.

There were milestones and periodic meetings which kept everyone abreast with the developments. Any breakthrough or roadblocks were communicated promptly and actioned on a timely basis.

Their never-say-die attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt set them apart.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Technology keeps changing and newer tools which can build more efficient models keep coming up. They need to train and expand their realms of operation from the software to a complete IoT based solution platform so that R&D setups like ours can get things done at one place.

We needed to build an app which would allow people to excercise with utmost ease. For this to be possible, advanced systems such as AI and Machine learning needed to be implemented. Whoever uses the app was to be given a gif display and instructions based on voice commands, their actions were reflected and properly recognised using AI and ML models. Each excercise is performed with precise angles and positions with our app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Daten & wissen identified market standards and procedures which were used by fitness coaches and training center. Their team developed a model which could perform all those exercises while giving instructions using voice commands under the field of NLP. If any exercise was performed in a wrong manner then its positive feedback will be given immediately and the gif would be played.

Daten & Wissen was a growing startup at the time and had promising technology to back up their work. The company worked on a similar project for PPE detection using Computer Vision technology and the solution they developed for our company was almost similar to the prior.
