For what projects/services did your company hire Skyrand Technologies?

Skyrand built UI UX backend development for some workflows.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a user friendly modern design which can complete tasks with minimal steps.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected after having detailed discussion on their delivery timelines and their ability to build systems (platforms, qualifications, experience) and from our previous work order. Skyrand has shown their ability to outperform other competitors for this project by their work ethics.

Describe the project in detail.

The project needed to understand the users personality and the way they perceive the interface / page. Since our users need to access data daily, it is most important to view all information in one page / in minimal clicks. Several other aspects such as scalability, security & others were also taken care with careful assessment.

With that said, they have also extended their work by developing a interface for mobile app for consumers of our product as good will. The team has took several calls with us during the project time & have worked beyond office hours with us to roll out the product before timeline.

What was the team composition?

A project manager has handled all our initial queries, for expediting process Mr Sanjeev has stepped up and was available for us round the clock to instantly take decisions from their side and also convey delivery timelines and impact of changes we are asking.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our users have now access to information within 2 steps from earlier 5 steps. Consolidation and delivery of content was done well. Careful database management was done . The mobile application had improved user interaction with us by a significant number.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Seamless, very interactive and accessible.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The expertise and practical scenarios that will pan out in development & adoption was focussed.

Are there any areas for improvement?

If we could see a real-time dashboard of the status of the project that would’ve been great. Currently, several timelines revisions & other relevant documents were communicated via Email.

We are a training data services company and we work with companies in the AI, Ml and computer vision space. I'm in charge of enterprise sales and operations.

We were looking for a cloud based web application that we could use for our image annotation work and reporting.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a single application that could handle the annotation work and also provide various metrics on the team's performance and productivity.

How did you select this vendor?

We had already worked with them for our web design work.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We were working with a lot of opensource tools for our computer vision work and it was messy since we had to do a lot of manual entry on excel sheets to track the productivity of our team. This ate up a lot of our time and most often our metrics were also not correct. They came up with a cloud based annotation platform and a reporting tool that made our life easier with automated reports, project delegation and importantly they implemented some automation our annotation work which improved the productivity significantly.

What was the team composition?

There were a team of 6 people(a project manager, a front end developer and 3 full stack developers)

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This certainly had some remarkable impacts. The first thing was we didn't have to spend hours making manual entry on spreadsheets and calculations. Other impacts were improved co-ordination between various teams in the project, proper delegation of work and increase in productivity due to automation.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We had a dedicated project manager with whom we had all the communications. All our communications were on Slack since we use it at DataClap as well. Plus we had weekly reports on the progress of the project. We were always kept informed on the progress and the people at Skyrand were always open to our feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Certainly, the most impressive aspect has to be the amount of care they put in for the project's success. I've had experiences with other teams where after the company lands the project they show signs of lethargy and lack the initial level of interest. This isn't the case with them and it was a refreshing change for me personally. They had shrewd project management skills and were able to suggest and add features that we didn't know we needed.

Are there any areas for improvement?

If I have one suggestion, it might be that they could be a little more improvement on the documentation part.
