Dames is a full service Structural Engineering and Architectural Design firm led by Elizabeth Springer, PE. Our mission at Dames is to provide high quality design through a collaborative design process with integrity and due diligence to meet the sophisticated needs of our clients. Dames is known extensively for its work in residential projects including: new home designs, historical renovations, remodeling, and row homes. Our notable commercial work includes: structural and design support for Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary, The West Hill School, Swarthmore Nursery School, and local historic remodels such as Whitby Hall on the Haverford Heritage Trail and an Elfreth’s Alley row home remodel.
