We had used multiple service providers earlier to develop a platform, which is SEO optimised, enables traffic generation and provides a customer friendly User Interface. However, despite using some of the best names in industry, we noticed that the work was done from a revenue realisation perspective, than being customer focussed. Its with this problem we went to Cynoteck, to improve the existing website, add new features and make it more user friendly

We were able to get a UI that increased conversion, our ability to add new features was improved , and our traffic increased after the website work was completed

Running a Café has been an absolute delight. However, a business requires a lot more than just passion to prosper. We chose Cynoteck to build a top-notch website for our café, “Café by Mistakes”, that rightly described our vision and the idea behind it. We understand that promoting your business on the internet, in this era of digitalization, is imperative. To sustain itself, a business must have a digital presence. We were looking for a team that could design a beautiful website for us to promote our business on the internet and Cynoteck delivered us the solution within the proposed timeline.

We were planning to create a website for our Café, to promote our business online. We wanted a website that could display our menu and our contact information for our customers' convenience. We needed a website that should also feature a testimonial section to build credibility of our work. We were looking for a website that was attractive in design and displayed all the pertinent information about our business, such as location, menu, contact information, and more.

As our website went live, Café By Mistakes online presence increased exponentially. Our idea to mention our menu on the website worked like a gem. Several queries from potential customers are being made as they visit our website. Customers are reaching out to us via contact forms that the Cynoteck team has included on the website. The website has helped us promote our business on online platforms significantly, resulting in more people visiting the Café.

The workflow was smooth and quite professional. We were getting regular updates about our project and the Cynoteck team was always vigilant in addressing our queries regarding the project.

Working with the Cynoteck team has been a delightful experience. The team was extremely amiable and supportive. Out of many things, the one thing that specifically impressed me the most was their level of conviction to deliver an optimum solution. The Cynoteck team brainstormed and produced different ideas for the website. The team was dedicated to providing best-in-class services to me and my team.

As the project was completed within the deadline and an excellent solution was delivered to us, we cannot particularly think of any areas of improvement. However, for future projects, we will certainly keep an eye on any areas for improvement.

As the lockdown was announced in India due to COVID-19, we contacted Cynoteck looking for a solution that will help us conduct all our classes online and manage the entire course curriculum online for our students.

Additionally, we also needed a solution for email and document management, and it would be great if all systems worked well together. Cynoteck suggested that we go with Office 365 and Teams as they were trusted solutions from Microsoft and would integrate well.

As a result of the lockdown, all schools were closed, and people’s movement was restricted. We were not sure till when these restrictions would be in place.

We wanted a solution that would firstly allow us to conduct our classes seamlessly online as well as manage our student’s entire course curriculum online and secondly, a solution for email and document management.

The team took care of all aspects of the project, like the implementation, configuration, customizations, testing, and deployment of the solutions. They even trained our staff on how to use the solutions efficiently.

As the lockdown lasted for a few months, Teams and Office 365 have proven to be life savers for us. We were able to conduct all our classes online, manage our student’s course curriculum, have an email tool that can be accessed on-the-go and manage documents efficiently.

All our students, teachers and other staff were able to use these solutions from the comfort of their home. The entire system works seamlessly and so perfectly well that we cannot think of work without these solutions.

The fact that the Cynoteck team were so brilliant in their approach towards the project and communication with us, helped speed up the project delivery at such a critical time and there were no hiccups or roadblocks.

Since this was a small project, not much project management was required. But the Cynoteck team worked like professionals and it was evident from their approach that they are experts at this work and have been doing this for years.

As I have mentioned in the previous questions, they work like a team of experts who know their job well. I was impressed by every aspect of their team and approach towards the project, be it, their clear thought process, project planning, project delivery, training our staff, etc.

The project management is great. They communicate regularly and are very open about their process. They always meet their deadlines and we have had the same core team through all our years of working together. We communicate through: Trello, Video Chat, Github, and Chat.

We had access to the whole team which allowed us to communicate ideas and not have anything lost. In addition Udit the CEO is extremely hands on and ensures everything runs smoothly.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a meeting to go over each parties' responsibilities and set timelines. Cynoteck's team worked with our controller to get all the necessary information and data in order to complete the migration and start the implementation.

What was the team composition?

4 people (business development, project leader and two project support staff) from Cynoteck attended our first video conferences. Once the project was assigned to the project team, the project leader became our point of contact. Throughout the entire process, the business development manager was copied on all correspondences and checked in with us periodically to ensure all our needs were met.

Within 90 days, Cynoteck migrated all our data from Quickbooks from Dynamics Business Central and also successfully implemented Dynamics Business Central.

The project manager that was assigned to our project was extremely responsive and attentive to all of our requests. We had weekly video calls and frequent email exchanges. They even provided recordings of video training sessions and step-by-step user manual for us.

The firm has used Cynoteck on many prior projects and the results have always been excellent. The team spent a considerable amount of time walking us through every consideration as well as creating custom features to fit our needs. We received estimates from other consultants that were significantly more expensive and less comprehensive in implementation ability. Cynoteck was the clear winner.

The steps were to have a mutual understanding of the requirements of the system to fit the needs of the firm, normalize the current data to match to the new GL requirements, set up the new GL, import the data, train on the new system, and reconcile transactions.

The new general ledger has been able to do all we hoped it could and more. The time savings from having the right tool is significant.

The project was managed through Microsoft Teams. This was excellent because all of the calls were recorded for reference. The team broke down the project into smaller action steps that could easily be accomplished within a few days.

They were excellent at creating custom solutions to ensure that the general ledger fit all of our company's needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A higher level view of project deliverable and dates would have been helpful. There were misunderstandings about what each phase of the project constituted and the corresponding timeline.

GL mapping proved to be an issue. Much of the rework could have been avoided by the team and I spending more time in my showing how our transactions are recorded in the GL and the impact on the accounts.
