Onboarding takes one to two business days. New clients submit a brief describing the project, share two to three sample films that represent their preferred editing style, and provide their footage via Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, or Frame.io. A dedicated editor is assigned to the account and stays with that client permanently — the same editor handles every project for that studio going forward. Before the first edit, the assigned editor studies sample films from the client and documents specific style decisions: average shots per minute by section (prep, ceremony, reception), color treatment and LUT preferences, audio mix balance (vows-forward, music-forward, or balanced), and story structure (chronological, thematic, or letter-format). This style profile is built once and reused for every project after, allowing 95% style match on the first edit and near-perfect consistency by the third project. This model is the primary differentiator from outsourcing services that rotate editors across clients.

Cut Pro Media edits natively in Adobe Premiere Pro. All projects are built in Premiere Pro from start to finish, and native project files are returned to clients on request — meaning the studio can make late-stage adjustments in their own NLE if needed. Color correction is performed in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve depending on project requirements. Audio cleanup uses Adobe Audition. We accept footage in any format and frame rate, including 4K, 6K, and 8K source files from Sony, Canon, RED, ARRI, Blackmagic, and other professional cameras. For studios editing in DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, project files can be delivered as XML for re-link in their preferred NLE.
