Our Shopify site is still in the development phase, but our site has some root pages now. The pages we have received look and function exactly as we have envisioned. However, we encounter some issues with scrolling and navigation. We hope that these will be removed once our site goes live.

I'm a manager at Codesphere Technologies, a cloud-based software company based in Germany with headquarters in California. We provide businesses and individuals with a cloud-based and hybrid environment to help them transition from their on-premise systems.

What challenge were you trying to address with CSSChopper?

We were looking for custom website development services because we wanted to build our own fully customized website. For this project, our main challenge was that we wanted a company that could provide us with low-code development services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

CSSChopper is helping us develop a custom low-code website. To jumpstart this project, we first helped them understand the issues we needed to address. For instance, we provided them with documentation regarding the queries and challenges we were facing in our development process.

Although we had no concrete development documentation, their team provided us with proposals and audits they created on their own to help us realize if they had truly understood our requirements or not; that was how our partnership was in motion. Thus far, this project is ongoing, and we've completed a few milestones of the development plan.

We searched on Google for website development services and came across various websites, including Clutch. Therefore, we actually used Clutch to find the best-fitting partner. Since we were looking for a low-code development partner, we used Clutch's category system to find companies within our budget and with expertise in the area we were looking for.

We found that CSSChopper would be able to accommodate our needs and help us with the low-code development services we needed. We were looking for Amazon and Salesforce integrations, and they were able to provide us with that as well, so we chose them for this project.

We pay CSSChopper on a milestone basis, but I can't disclose the amount because we have an NDA signed.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Considering that this is an ongoing project, we have no user-based results yet because the website hasn't been deployed. Still, CSSChopper has built an appealing UI and provided us with high-end graphics. Additionally, they've navigated through the idea of us being a user-based company and how we want to ensure that our users find our website easy to navigate. Thus far, I've noticed that CSSChopper is building a user-friendly website.

How did CSSChopper perform from a project management standpoint?

One thing I've really liked about CSSChopper is that there haven't been additional costs or hidden fees. Every time they hit a milestone, we make a payment, and those payments have been exactly as defined in the early stages. Moreover, the development process has been going according to the timeline they provided, so we've seen no delays. Their timeliness is what I like the most about them, as I'm confident that the project will be delivered right on time.

In addition to that, CSSChopper's project management is amazing. Their team always updates us on potential issues and the project status on time, so we always know what's going on. For example, if I have any questions about the project at 3 a.m., they're very cooperative and reply back quickly. Overall, their user support is very nice, so I'm quite satisfied with their responsiveness.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I haven't experienced any issues so far with CSSChopper. They're open to collaborating and great at understanding our feedback. Moreover, their methodologies are fine, so everything has gone well so far. Considering that the project is ongoing and we're still in the development process, we might have more feedback in the future.

We're yet to see how CSSChopper handles deployment and maintenance, as well as how the respond to the market. There are other services we're looking forward to getting from them, so we will be assessing potential issues in the future.
