I’m the marketing director of Gutenberg Technology, an edtech company. We provide an end-to-end SaaS learning content management platform that enables organizations to efficiently create, transform, and distribute print and digital learning content from a single workflow.

What challenge were you trying to address with CRM magnetics?

We needed help cleaning up our CRM and fixing and cleaning outdated foundational data. Most importantly, we needed to create workflow automations to ensure that leads, MQLs, and SQLs were always up to date and routed to the right place.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CRM magnetics has helped us clean up our CRM and create workflow automations. The team has implemented Apollo for real-time data enrichment (firmographic, technographic, and buying intent data). They've also set up automated lifecycle stages to track where every lead is in the buying process.

Moreover, CRM magnetics has built out ICP and personas for the US and France (e-learning, higher education, publishers, and corporate training) to guide more targeted messaging. The team has also refined lead scoring with separate fit and engagement scores to qualify high-quality MQLs.

In addition, CRM magnetics has optimized forms and routing to differentiate nurture leads from immediate sales-ready leads. The team has also automated lead assignment and notifications to sales based on scoring and form triggers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

CRM magnetics has cleaned all of our data and integrated Apollo to ensure it remains clean via workflows. The team has also set up workflows and automations for lead routing. Now, all of our existing prospects and leads (engaged and unengaged) have been correctly attributed, and workflows are set up to route them to the right people.

How did CRM magnetics perform from a project management standpoint?

We were a bit behind schedule, but that wasn't CRM magnetics' fault. Some things took longer than anticipated, but the team communicated very well and delivered thoroughly according to the SOW. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by CRM magnetics' attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

Overall, our experience was very positive. If there were one area for improvement, it would be to approach early account onboarding conversations with a bit more openness and curiosity. While I understand the desire to clarify scope and responsibilities, a more collaborative tone during those initial discussions would help set an even stronger foundation for the partnership.
