First known as the Summerside Wellness Centre when construction was underway in 2006, the facility was renamed Credit Union Place in January of 2008. This new facility replaced the aging Cahill Stadium & Steel Arena that were built in 1954 and Centennial Pool built in the 1960’s. Located steps away from the Summerside Waterfront, with a capacity of up to 6,000 for a multitude of events, Eastlink arena at Credit Union Place has hosted many of the greatest artists & athletes of our time.
