Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the marketing director of Quail Ridge, a private country club in South Florida. In contrast with clubs in the Northeast, Quail Ridge has several residences along with tennis and golf. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Lead Better Digital?

We needed to drive qualified leads to our real estate sales team by promoting the lifestyle of Quail Ridge as a club and a community of private residential clubs online. We had the unique challenge of selling real estate that had a lifestyle attached to it. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lead Better Digital runs several digital marketing campaigns for our company. They target each campaign through zip codes and the information that I provide, including demographic and financial data. 

Lead Better Digital focuses on our digital marketing strategy and can emulate the look and feel of our current ad campaigns, using digital banners as a marketing tool. Lead Better Digital generally uses Facebook and Instagram because they give us our highest penetration rates. 

Next, we'll do a complete relaunch of our external marketing campaigns. 

What is the team composition?

I work with Joe (Senior VP of Sales), Mark (President), and some graphic designers. 

How did you come to work with Lead Better Digital?

I was referred to Lead Better Digital by a friend who works as their general manager. I wanted to add some diversity to our vendors — most private clubs use the same vendors and approaches, and I wanted to shake that up. 

I liked that Lead Better Digital had a more innovative, aggressive approach than the more traditional campaigns laid out by other companies. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $20,000 with Lead Better Digital so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in June 2021 and the partnership is ongoing. We took a four-week hiatus because we needed to set up another relaunch of our campaigns. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Lead Better Digital's campaigns on Facebook and Instagram have some of the highest conversion rates of our different marketing programs. 

In terms of KPIs, there isn't as much of a boost in our lead quantity, but I'm more focused on a campaign that focuses on quality over quantity. However, there has been an overall lead improvement, we're up 18% in lead traffic, and our conversion rate is up 5%. 

Conversion rates have been slightly skewed because of COVID-19, but we're pleased with the conversion-to-sale ratio. 

How did Lead Better Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

I don't use Lead Better Digital's reporting suite; I like to use Google Analytics in combination with other real estate-based database services. Lead Better Digital also provides me with monthly work recaps. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Lead Better Digital is hands-on with their work. I also work with a boutique advertising firm, and I always feel like I have to reach out to them with my ideas for improvement or another project. 

But Lead Better Digital is always reaching out to me with ideas to help push my company's profile into the market. They're a very dynamic and involved company. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing jumps out at me. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The information customers provide is critical for their strategic direction. I would advise customers to provide detailed information of what they want from a digital marketing campaign to Lead Better Digital so they can target their marketing approach. 

They know some industries better than others. There are often similarities between industries, but giving Lead Better Digital as much information as possible gives them a good view of the customer's business.
