I am an account manager and exec. for a large marketing company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Creative Overhaul?

We hired Creative Overhaul to create a website for one of our current clients. We currently couldn't handle the workload as well as didn't have the specialized skills necessary to deliver on what the client was hoping for. We reached out to a long-time partner to step in and deliver what we couldn't.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor because we were very familiar with their work and knew that they would deliver superior quality.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After providing Creative Overhaul with the relevant content and information they got to work immediately creating the first version of the website. Following the creation of the website, we went through a revisionary phase with ourselves and the client. Following this, Creative Overhaul implemented the revisions and sent the website live. The whole project took around 3 months beating the 4-month estimate.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total, I worked with their CEO Braydon, and a few members of their development and design team. Mostly, working with Braydon. The communication was amazing and the process seamless.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website has received nothing but positive feedback since its launch. The client is extremely happy with the project and the performance is extraordinary.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was streamlined. Communication was dedicated to one channel and response times were very short.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to pick up the project and deliver on the specialized aspects of it that an ordinary website design company can not. For example, we needed a custom graphic that was interactive on the website and could only be made with java (I think). Creative Overhaul made this project look easy, completing it to near perfection in the first attempt.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing comes to mind.

I am a freelance photographer, specializing in portraits and adventure photography.

I was struggling to bring in enough work to keep myself afloat. I wasn’t getting enough leads and clearly my marketing efforts weren’t hitting my target audience, so I brought in Creative Overhaul as a consultant to help me develop a new strategy, assist in running ads, and give some of my content more direction.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have been following them for quite some time now, and had originally heard of them through some personal connections. What initially impressed me was the customer service/communication. When I first reached out, I could tell Braydon knew what he was talking about and genuinely cared about what I was trying to accomplish. However, the actual selling point was when he showed me case studies from their past work. The results spoke for themselves, and good results from good people is a no brainer.

We started with an initial call to establish my end goal of working with Creative Overhaul. I told them I wanted to bring in more paying customers, and that I wanted to bring more engagement on my socials as I felt that it was falling off hard in the last year. I also explained that I didn’t have much of a budget for ads. They took the information I gave them regarding my ideal client/target market, the kind of work I do, and the content I had been putting out yo to this point, and got back to me within a week or so with a full 3outreach strategy ready to go. We implemented everything and did check-ins once a week, where Braydon would walk me through everything that happened that week and take a look at the analytics to track progress. A lot of this was hands off for me, they handled everything, which was fantastic as I don’t have the time or knowledge to do this myself.

I only worked directly with the CEO, however I know there was some designers working on my project behind the scenes. I never spoke to them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My Instagram was definitely starting to gain traction, but Facebook was where I thrived after implementing their strategies. My page likes jumped up by 35%, and I started to receive enough inquiries to keep my business alive. Not only that, but I was receiving inquires that interested me, quality clients, which showed me that I was hitting much closer to my target market. Previously, I was just taking any job that popped up for the money. This put me in a position to only take the ones that aligned with my brand.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was fantastic beginning to end. I was a little hesitant about not being involved with their whole team, however I actually found it to be very beneficial to only deal with one person for everything. There was no confusion on who to go to for what, or being sent to somebody else for certain things, just one contact that took care of everything for me.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Honestly above all else, the quality of customer service/communication. By the end of our project, it was just like hopping in the phone with an old friend. As much as everything was handled for me, I felt like part of the team. As previously mentioned, I was also impressed with the quality of the engagement I was receiving. Significantly less inquiries that were just looking for any given photographer, and more inquiries based on my style and brand.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Being hands off means I didn’t always fully understand what was going on. They did their best to explain it to me, but marketing and social media isn’t my profession, taking photos is. Giving me a deeper understanding of each and every movement and why certain things worked would’ve been great. However, they weren’t hired to educate me, they were hired to help me get where I needed to be. In that sense, they delivered perfectly and I don’t have any complaints about their services, more so my lack of understanding of this niche.
