The positioning of my old website was too "junior". My business advanced whithin the last couple of years and I wanted that progress reflected on my website.

With their creative approach, Creative Mules gave it a new look and feel, more mature, but still promising: "I am the creative guy you need for your PR concepts and media relations." Creative Mules explain very clear the "why" of their design soultions. They don't just design some fancy layouts without concept.

I was a fast process. I described in a briefing that I wanted: a more meture website, my work over my person, a clear disign with one or two little parts of color. The guys from Creative Mules came up with a couple of ideas we discussed in a further session and they finnished it. Now it's on me to provide the new photos (photo session date is scheduled).

I worked with three people. The contact person and project coordinator, the web designer and the UX designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Not yet, but I did a survey with some customers - and all of them agreed on the more senior-like appearance.

A young creative team meets a young one-man-army: That's short decision ways, fast communication and hot results. We used "Figma" to show in real-time the progress and changes on the layout. And we had one online-meeting via "meet.around".

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their easy way to handle business, their global work performance (everybody works in a different country), their creativity, and their clear oppinions on what works and what doesn't - UX and design wise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Get their creatice outcome better canalized. Some layut ideas were suoer creative, but off-topic in terms of my customers industry.

Web presence in this line of work is extremely important and I wanted something really special that would stand out from the crowd. I searched for a really long time for a suitable agency and I am very happy that I found Creative Mules. They showed me other reference projects and explained their approach and procedure. That convinced me.

First, Creative Mules wanted to know as much information as possible about me and my business. They helped me to think more structurally and present my services logically on the website. I already had a minimal brand identity with a few elements - they expanded this accordingly for the web and created a landing page design based on that. Once we agreed on a certain style and layout, they proceeded with the design of the rest of the pages.

In total, I worked with 4 people: One main contact, the project manager as well as three other people that joined some of the calls such as their creative director, UI/UX designer, and their developer - all very lovely and friendly people!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Everyone I have shown the website to so far has been absolutely thrilled and not once has anyone said anything negative about the website. I am also surprised by the loading time as there are really a lot of animations but the Creative Mules team has optimized the site perfectly. I am totally thrilled with the result and it has exceeded my wildest expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very effective. From the design phase on, most of the communication actually went through Figma and there it is possible to give live feedback directly. This was always implemented in a timely manner and for all major changes, the project manager organized calls in which everything was discussed structurally.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

When it comes to web design, these guys were at the top of their game. At the beginning of the project I showed them references of other websites that I liked very much and I expected something on a similar scale, but they far exceeded those expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were not able to meet the originally planned deadline, but the delays were all on my account because I had underestimated my involvement in the project. So no, there is nothing to improve. I am happy with everything they have done!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since this is my first website, I can't really compare it to a previous version, but the general feedback I've received from my customers has been excellent. Everyone loves it!

Creative Mules was very flexible in project planning - sometimes we exchanged emails, talked on the phone or I dropped by their office in Garmisch-Partenkirchen directly.

Their quick turnaround time, but what impressed me the most was their creativity: they came up with things I would never have imagined for a website.

We have hired Creative Mules to present the benefits and ease of use of our platform by LIA. The goal was to create a video that clearly explains the enormous advantages of LIA for any company.

We got recommendations to various agencies within our network with whom we all had talks. In addition to time and financial issues, the decisive factor/question for us was which agency would best implement your ideas and thus meet our expectations - and this was Creative Mules.

First, we had a get to know each other meeting were we explained our expectations and ideas. Creative Mule created a whole storybook including each scene in detail. They took care of getting the right people for our project. During the process we received stile shots to get a better understanding for the final product. We had discussions and update meetings from time to time to give input or to change scenes directly. We used figma, emails and video calls.

We basically worked with Creative Mules and one of their partners for FX- and digital effects directly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The overall feedback was super positive but we will not share any specific numbers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had different calls and chats via email and co. This was very good, although I would recommend more fix short and prepared update calls to be even more efficient and to avoid misunderstandings (which we didn't had).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They make things happen - on time! This young team was super flexible and responded to all our wishes, even if we had very specific expectations. You get fast feedback at any time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Well, even though the process was very good and they delivered on time - I think it would help to have more short and prepared update calls (no email or chat).

I am the senior communications manager for EIT Food, an EU-funded initiative for change in the food supply chain in Europe. We’re improving the whole supply chain, from the fields all the way to the retailers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Mules?

We were looking for a graphic designer and a project manager to help with our exhibition at an airport in Munich. It was a new experience for us, as we haven’t conducted such activity before.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creative Mules worked on 16 moveable walls in a public area at the airport. It aims to promote our education programs, public engagements, and the changes in the food supply chain. We presented our work in different languages. 

We didn’t have any experience with a project like this, but Creative Mules helped us learn about photo resolution, graphic design, and the mechanics of a moveable wall. We had to learn a new way of engaging with the public — it was more complicated than having a regular stand or a short film. We had to attract passersby with appealing pictures and ideas.

We have our internal color system, and Creative Mules thought of ways how our moveable walls will be eye-catching and how to include our slogans there. Their project manager helped us simplify our message while the graphic designer put all our information and pictures on the walls. It took two weeks to organize content and design the walls.

We only worked with a project manager and a graphic designer — it isn’t a big project as 16 moveable walls aren’t that much work.

They were recommended to us.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent €35,000 (approximately $42,000 USD) for the whole project and  €4,000 (approximately $5,000 USD) for graphic design and project management.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2021, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have shared the project with our whole company, and they are all excited about the idea. The general feedback is that the exhibit is amazing. It is a good learning experience for us, and we now have a brilliant public display. Due to its success, the exhibition will travel to Spain, France, and the whole of Europe. 

How did Creative Mules perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication was through Figma, WhatsApp, email, and phone, and they are reachable at any time. We sometimes work late in the evening, and there is still someone available to talk with us. It was great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We are impressed with their speed. We gave them our ideas, and they have the design a couple of days later. We are working together every day, and we can see that the pace of their work is really fast.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We are really satisfied. Creative Mules work fast, their design is really beautiful, and everyone on our team is pleased. I have no idea what they could have done better. They do amazing and fast work, and nothing can be better than that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I am 100% sure that your project will be successful. If you are looking for someone who can train you and help you fix your ideas, Creative Mules would be a good choice — I really recommend them to everyone.

I am the Art Director at Hubject located in Berlin, Germany. Hubject enables easy worldwide access to electric vehicle charging infrastructure and cross-provider usage for users. I oversee, manage and design all contact points that our customers engage with and steer communication.

Our Website was in need to be updated after using the same framework for around six years, limiting our possibilities and slowing down our marketing campaign workflow. We also needed to update the overall communication and product portfolio to simplify and clarify.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to improve the lead generation via our website forms and automate that process to accelerate our internal workflow. The website also needed to be easily maintainable while giving us the option to evolve it further.

SOLUTION

How did you select Creative Mules?

We also had experience with Creative Mules from prior projects that also went super smoothly, so it was a no-brainer to go with them for our most significant update so far.

We received sitemaps, wireframes, mockups, and five initial design directions for the landing page within the first two weeks. After a few iterations and discussions with our team and CEO, we finalized the design, and I provided feedback on how we wanted the rest of the site to look. Creative Mules created based on the input, the other pages and also provided copywriting.

I was the project manager and designer from Hubject's side and served as the main point of contact and feedback. Creative Mules did provide a Project Manager, Art Director, Copywriter, Illustrator, and Developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within the first month after going live with the website, we overachieved our internal lead generation goals and saw an increase in traffic while getting better SEO results.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication and workflow were super fast since we were in constant contact and had weekly update meetings for all stakeholders. They always gave us a notification if some feedback was missing and raised questions if things were unclear from our side.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The speed and, at the same time, quality were stellar. Even if we had last-minute changes or questions beyond the project itself, they always had an open ear and helped find a solution. All of this completely remote, something bigger and more experienced agencies can’t get right.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, timing and workload were high even I didn’t believe we would get this done in that amount of time with the preferred quality, but they made it happen.

Creative Mules were initially recommended to us. After seeing their portfolio and talking to them about the project, we were completely convinced and therefore decided to go with them.

Once commissioned, we compiled all the content for the whitepaper and provided it to Creative Mules. In addition, we clarified in a first call how we envisioned the design and what the scope of the whitepaper should be. During the design phase, we were provided with the current drafts for feedback at regular intervals. All our comments were perfectly incorporated within a very short time.

The project manager from the Creative Mules was very communicative during the whole project. He would respond to our questions on Slack instantly. Every week we had a Zoom meeting when he would fill us up on the progress and we would provide him with the feedback. He would always listen and elaborate on the psoibilities.

I was amazed by their design eye and knowledge of SEO marketing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are very satisfied with their work. The mobile version of our website had some issues when it was uploaded, however, they fixed it up very quickly.

The overall goal was to present ourselves formally, with a strong impression over all our social media platforms. To fully build the overall brand image and subsequent reputation of Bespoke. This was achieved beyond our expectations, with creative methods that helped narrow down and focus our brand image.

Our team searched locally for talent to match our requirements, however found ourselves unsuccessful. After rather allot of searching, Creative Mules was suggested through a mutual acquaintance.

Once reviewing their portfolio, we were left impressed and contacted for an online meeting. Any doubts we faced with contracting a out of country firm were quickly brushed away after our first meeting, the passion and understanding of the Mules team was unmatched by others we had previously considered.

The Bespoke team most appreciated the communicative nature, and quick turn around time for any critiques which were posed. The initial meeting was based around really getting to know our project and our end goals, with much enthusiasm.

From here it was a constant flow of ideas and designs to back them up, the Creative Mules, went beyond our expectations, researching the history of the Island of Cyprus, to include patterns and colours to help keep our brand image connected to the Island.

After our branding was created, we had realised their investigative methods to get to understand our company better had not only advantaged them, but also our team. Shortly after the print and website design followed, no critique was too much, nothing was ever inconvenient for them.

Our first contact with the Mules was through their creative director, his hands on approach was a key foundation for us to fully trust and allow his team to progress with our branding.

Once the scope of the work and the requirements were understood we were joined by their project strategist. This was an excellent addition as we were sure there would be no miss-communication through their team, communicating opening between us helped to convey the brand image successfully.

Finally we had a meeting with their graphic designer, this proved especially useful as he was able to explain to us and convey his methods and tactics to all details he had included, as well as take on our feedback, which was always positively received.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the launch of our company we have developed our client-base purely through the work produced for us by the Mules team. The results had far surpassed our expectations, proving to unite our team under a common banner and goal, the ideation process helped each member to understand our company better and what we wish to achieve.

We tried to keep The Creative Mules as our secret weapon, however talent such as theirs cannot be held secret for long, subsequently we have recommended their services to all who would listen.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Creative Mules team, and team leaders were incredibly flexible to our needs, taking into account time zones, they were always available to fit our schedule, an attribute that became extremely valuable.

Our team was set to high standards leading to many changes to the design, which were welcomed by the Creative Mules team with enthusiasm, the creative direction they provided was invaluable to the end result.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Our most impressive remark is the detail and research the Creative Mules went into, researching our Islands history, to ensure we can appeal to our local market, one they have no familiarity with.

Their overall enthusiasm and attitude for the project were overwhelmingly positive. Towards the end of the project, the Creative Mules team had began to feel part of our team, it was an entirely symbiotic relationship that had been formed.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As all of our goals and ideas were met, I could not fault the Creative Mules. They accommodated all requests in a timely manner, as well as providing their own professional opinion. The physical distance between our teams proved no issues.
