For what projects/services did your company hire CrawlApps Infotech, and what were your goals?

We wanted to test out the potential of launching a new app on Shopify, and needed a development agency with experience in this domain who was easy to work with.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We spoke with dozens of agencies, and CrawlApps had the best communication and a proven track record of developing on Shopify.

Much of the project was scoped out as the CrawlApps team developed it. We used a Laravel app with MySQL and a dedicated server hosting solution. I interacted with their project manager and developers throughout the project

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were approximately 3 or 4 individuals from the CrawlApps team who worked with me.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project resulted in a Shopify app which was launched on their marketplace and is doing well.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Communication was good throughout the project. We use Slack for daily communication, Jira to track all work, BitBucket to push code to different environments, and email when necessary.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was highly impressed with their flexibility. If I needed more or fewer hours as the project went through different phases, they were happy to accommodate. If I needed somebody with a new set of expertise, they found somebody on their team to deliver it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In general things were very good. We ironed some things out, like better communication about holidays their team was taking, and how to handle emergencies.
