Please describe your company and your position there.

During this project, I have been the COO & CTO at Rise.io and we were building a Digital Advertisement Campaigns Optimization Platform.

We needed staff augmentation with specific traits in order to improve our manpower and the completeness of our development team.

During our recruitment process, while we were reaching out to various other companies and individuals, this company reached out to us and things end up flowing from that starting contact, to the a list of candidate profiles and some interviews. Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The project consisted on creating this platform for digital advertisement campaigns optimization, and craftable provided us with a junior developer of exceptional skills and versatility, who was able to help with the implementation, working together with others in a team context, reviewing code and discussing various aspects with pertinent points, and overall improving the understanding and documentation of the domain, as well as exploring and creating valuable proofs of concept to test technologies and ideas.

Describe the recruitment process in detail.

After an initial contact and collecting of the main requirements for the role, craftable selected a list of potential candidates. We then scheduled and had an interview with the selected ones. Finally, we agreed on the terms and conditions for the contract, and started the agreement.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Their support helped significantly in better understanding and improving the services we were working with, the business domain, and overall overcoming difficulties.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The developer and craftable integrated in a very agile and seamless way in our team, and successfully developed synergies that boosted productivity and success for all parts involved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The efficiency, the attention to detail, and the support they provide both to their clients and their employees.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing specific to point out. They are responsive and quick in resolving any issues, when and if they occur. We didn't have any issues throughout the process. Aside from their processes, which seem quite good, there are many things which will depend on the people directly providing the service, but in our case, the developer we got was a perfect fit for what we needed and wanted, and that helps in making the whole experience complete and very satisfying.
